Louis Tomlinson Will Appear On ‘Family Guy’ Next Week, Mentions Girlfriend On ‘America’s Got Talent’
Louis Tomlinson is staging a mini-takeover of American TV this summer with guest appearances on Family Guy and America’s Got Talent.
American One Direction fans won’t have to wait very long to see an animated version of Louis Tomlinson in one of Family Guy’s comedic cutaway gags. According to Sugarscape, he and bandmate Liam Payne will lend their voices to the Sunday, May 15 episode of the animated FOX series. The episode is titled “Run, Chris, Run,” and its TV Guide description doesn’t mention One Direction at all.
“Chris is surprisingly elected homecoming king, but Meg learns the cool clique plans to prank him during the upcoming ceremony,” the episode summary reads. “Meanwhile, the guys seek a replacement for Cleveland when he begins hanging out with Jerome the bartender.”

Luckily for One Direction fans, Entertainment Weekly got the scoop on Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne’s guest appearance on Family Guy. The boys will be playing themselves, and animated versions of Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and Simon Cowell will also appear in the scene. However, Liam and Louis are the only members of One Direction who recorded dialogue for the show.
The boys will reportedly appear in a spooky campfire scene alongside Stewie Griffin. The baby brainiac will try to create some midnight memories with his new friends by telling them a scary story, and Stewie knows there’s one thing that frightens One Direction more than serial killers, Slender Man, and Shadow Pico: the idea of wearing non-skinny jeans.
The Family Guy episode won’t be the first time members of One Direction have appeared in animated form. As Wired reports, Archer lead animator Mark Parsons created a popular series of web cartoons starring Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, and Zayn Malik. In The Adventurous Adventures of One Direction, Parsons re-imagines the boys as a group of Power Rangers-like superheroes led by Simon Cowell’s giant floating head. Parsons did all of the band members’ voices in the web videos, the first of which you can see below.
As MTV News reports, Louis Tomlinson will follow up his guest-starring role on Family Guy with an appearance as a guest judge on America’s Got Talent. On May 3, Louis was spotted at the live taping of the NBC talent competition. He joined regular judges Mel B, Heidi Klum, Howie Mandel, and Simon Cowell in front of those giant Xs, and he reportedly cracked a few jokes about the acts he was tasked with evaluating.
According to Unreality TV, a makeup artist named Sona spilled the beans about Louis Tomlinson’s America’s Got Talent appearance. Louis reportedly mentioned his girlfriend, Originals actress Danielle Campbell, after watching a quick-change artist perform.
“I want you to come over to my house and teach my girlfriend how to get ready that quickly,” Louis reportedly joked.
The quick clothes changer wasn’t the strangest act Louis got to see during his stint on the talent show. He also watched a man pull a car with his nipples, which proved to be a painful experience for the singer.
“My nipples are sore watching that!” Louis said.

There’s no word on when Louis Tomlinson’s America’s Got Talent episode will air, but viewers might get to see a lot more of the One Direction singer on the reality competition in the future. According to Hollywood Life, Simon Cowell wants Louis to become a full-time judge on the show.
“Simon wants America’s Got Talent to skew younger,” a source said of Simon’s reason for wanting to add Louis to the judging panel.

As Variety reports, America’s Got Talent moved back to Los Angeles this season, making it the perfect gig for Louis Tomlinson. According to the Mirror, the British singer is currently residing in the swanky Hollywood Hills home he purchased to be closer to his baby son. Freddie Reign Tomlinson lives just down the road with his mother, Briana Jungwirth.
America’s Got Talent premieres Tuesday, May 31, at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. Would you like to see Louis Tomlinson as a full-time judge on the show?
