Source Reveals Floyd Mayweather Set To Fight Conor McGregor In Las Vegas Fight
It looks like Conor McGregor is about to have another huge fight coming up. After his big loss to Nate Diaz, Conor was supposed to fight at UFC 200, but that all fell through. Now, Hollywood Life is sharing that it looks like Conor is going to end up fighting Floyd Mayweather. Reports that that this will be a multi-millionaire dollar deal for Mayweather.
Mayweather is a retired boxer, and Conor McGregor did say that he was a retired UFC fighter even though nobody ever really believed that McGregor was done in the ring. According to the Sun, the fight is pretty much a done deal besides agreeing on a few things and signing the paperwork. The source says that this fight news will be coming out in the upcoming weeks.
They also went on to say that “Floyd went mad after Conor” and then said he “would crush him and knock him out in 30 seconds. He’s obsessed with making Conor eat his words.”
The source went on to say that Floyd wants a lot of things in this fight, including boxing only, and Conor will have to lose about 25 pounds for the fight.
The source shared, “It was agreed in principle on May 2, but Floyd wouldn’t reveal the identity of his opponent until last night when he told friends he’ll be fighting Conor.”

In an interview with Fight Hype, Mayweather shared that when he talks crap, people call him cocky and arrogant, but when Conor McGregor does it, people praise him. These two do a lot of trash talking, so a fight between them will for sure have a lot of talk before the fight ever starts. Mayweather is retired at this time, with 49 wins out of 49 fights. The word is that Mayweather will get paid $100 million for the fight, whereas Conor will get $7 million for it.
BJ Penn shared on his website about the fact that McGregor’s coach just gave a huge hint about this possible fight. There have been some questions about how McGregor would be able to do a boxing match because he is still under contract with the UFC. Nobody really seems to know how it will all work, but Conor McGregor’s coach posted on his Twitter, and it does look like a bit hint about this fight.

Conor and Floyd have already been trash talking each other a little bit.
Floyd said, “They say he talks a lot of trash and people praise him for it, but when I did it, they say I’m cocky and arrogant. So biased. Like I said before, all I’m saying is this: I ain’t racist at all, but I’m telling you racism still exists.”
After that, Conor responded, “Floyd Mayweather, don’t ever bring race into my success again, I am an Irishman. My people have been oppressed our entire existence. And still very much are. I understand the feeling of prejudice. It is a feeling that is deep in my blood. If you want, we can organise a fight no problem. I will give you a fair 80/20 split purse in my favour seen as your last fight bombed at every area of revenue.”
