Kristen Stewart And Girlfriend Break Up After Two Months, Stewart Pays Tribute To Costar Jodie Foster

Twilight star Kristen Stewart and her girlfriend Stephanie “Soko” Sokolinski have called it quits on their relationship only two months after they began dating. As Us Weekly shares, the couple has split but has not entirely ruled out reuniting in the future. A source relayed that “they may get back together in the future.” The publication notes details of Stewart and Soko’s brief romance.

“The couple never formally admitted that they were dating, but photos of them looking intimate spoke for themselves. The duo was first spotted looking romantic on a March trip to Paris. Since then, they’ve been seen holding hands both in New York and in Los Angeles.”

The couple was together as recently as Easter Sunday when Soko was spotted sucking on Stewart’s thumb while the duo picked up takeout at a restaurant in Los Angeles. Both women have attempted to be overly private about their relationship status, ensuring never to mention one another’s names in the press.

In late March, Kristen’s then girlfriend and French singer/songwriter spoke with W Magazine about her mystery romance.

“I’m very, very, very in love and very happy in a relationship.”

Kristen Stewart has been less vocal about her latest flame, although in the past she has dated men quite publicly. Wonderwall reminds of this and also indicates that Stewart has opened up about her sexuality recently.

“Kristen has been less forthcoming. Although she famously dated her “Twilight” costar Robert Pattinson for five years and was recently linked to actor Nicholas Hoult, she opened up her sexuality last August.”

The actress was sure to share her belief in regard to what she sees transpiring in the future and to people’s perceptions of the gay, bi, and straight populations

“Google me, I’m not hiding. I think in three or four years, there are going to be a whole lot more people who don’t think it’s necessary to figure out if you’re gay or straight. It’s like, just do your thing.”

Speculation of a split between the singer and Kristen has been raised since the actress was seen in the company of model Stella Maxwell on May 2. Stella and Kristen have an ex in common, seeing as the two both dated Miley Cyrus. However, a source shares that Maxwell and Stewart are merely friends and are not romantically linked. Soko, following the split, was spotted in Cannes partying with friends.

“They absolutely did not hook up. Stella has mutual friends with Kristen, and they just hung out a little at the party.”

In additional Kristen Stewart news, the former costar to Jodie Foster of the film Panic Room joined the veteran actress as she celebrated receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Stewart had kind words about Foster, as Autostraddle relays.

“Of all the examples that I could have had at such an impressionable age, there’s nothing self-serving about her,” Stewart said. “She cares about people, she is quite the opposite of the type of person that is gravitated towards being an actress… She’s always encompassed what I thought was sort of the prime example of where you want to be and she’s been there for me.. She’s a baller on every level. It’s out of control. She did everything young. She kicked Yale’s ass. She won Oscars. She became a filmmaker herself. She created a family and still is just normal and cool and kind.”

Stewart clearly has a great respect for the actress and shared that Foster was so “cool” that she hired a mariachi band for her 11th birthday.
