If President Barack Obama Could Have Any Superpower, It Would Be…
President Barack Obama was recently asked a number of off-beat questions, ranging from his musical preferences to his favorite dinner locales in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois. In the interview, the POTUS was also asked what superpower he would most like to have. His answer?
Polyglotism. The ability to speak any language.
President Obama revealed this, along with several other interesting insights into his personality and preferences, in an interview with KOB-FM in Albuquerque, New Mexico that aired Friday, reports the Boston Globe.
President Obama said that he would “love to be able to speak any language,” even though “it might not come in handy to rescue folks from a burning building.” Regardless, the president maintains that he’s a “big believer in making connections with people.”
A unique choice, but admittedly, a bit lame. Then again, he could have just gone with “safe” answers like “flying” or the “ability to turn invisible,” which might actually help his political career a bit more than polyglotism.
President Obama also discussed his favorite music, saying that Beyonce’s “Crazy In Love” is a great song to “get my heart rate up” (does he mean during a workout?), though he’s also partial to Stevie Wonder, Earth Wind and Fire, and Jay-Z. We’re guessing Kanye didn’t make the cut for obvious reasons. Obama also talked about his preference between red and green chili. It’s “classic red,” reports ABC News.
No word yet on how President Obama’s desire to speak multiple languages will help his poll numbers or re-election prospects.
