‘Bachelor’ Stars Ben Higgins And Lauren Bushnell Hit The Road Again: What’s The Latest From These Lovebirds?
Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell may be living together in Denver, Colorado, now that their Bachelor season has ended, but they were on the go again this past weekend and it looks like they had a great time. Ben and Lauren have been keeping busy with various appearances, many of them for charity, but their last event was a bit different. They were in Austin, Texas, for the iHeartCountry Festival, and it seems they had a blast.
There were plenty of big names performing at the iHeartCountry Festival in Austin this past weekend, and it looks like Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell were right in the thick of it all. The Bachelor lovebirds were up on the stage at one point, and they shared plenty of photos and videos via their social media pages throughout the weekend. Ben joked with his Twitter followers that he and Lauren can’t sing, but that didn’t stop them from having a blast at the festival.
Recent trips for Ben and Lauren have included charity events back in Indiana where Higgins grew up, a bit of time in California for Bushnell to move all of her stuff to Colorado, and family time in Oregon with her family. However, they are also embracing day-to-day life in Denver now as an engaged couple, and they have teased Bachelor fans that wedding planning may be beginning soon. They have not yet set a date, but the two have indicated that they may look to get married before the end of the year.
These Bachelor lovebirds clearly embraced the chance to let loose and have some fun during their brief trip to Austin. Bushnell shared a video showing her riding a scooter and cooler combo backstage, and she even had the opportunity to meet country superstar Miranda Lambert. Ben posted a bit less frequently throughout the weekend, but he obviously had a blast as well. The two reality television personalities seem to have a lot of love for many of the country artists who performed at the event, and it is easy to see why they said yes to the invitation to attend.
As for their day-to-day lives in Denver, it sounds as if things are going well. Some tabloid outlets were recently claiming that Ben is frustrated with Lauren for not finding a new job yet. Bachelor fans put little stock into those claims, and now it would seem that there is some confirmation that these rumors about Higgins being irritated are off-base.
Bachelor fans will remember that prior to filming this past season, Lauren was a flight attendant for Alaska Airlines. Bushnell and Higgins recently chatted with the airline’s publication, Alaska Beyond Magazine, and shared some interesting tidbits. Lauren shares that she is still working as a flight attendant, she just has been maintaining a light schedule lately.
Bushnell indicated that she will continue to work for Alaska Airlines and Higgins is supportive of the plan. He notes that he gets a bit nervous when she’s away from home, but he knows that she loves her job and he wants her to do what she loves. Ben also admits that the travel benefits she has are a nice perk and it certainly makes it easy for Ben and Lauren to travel frequently when she can utilize her connections. The tabloids may be intent on telling tales of strife and imminent breakups, but these Bachelor lovebirds seem to be doing pretty great as a couple these days.
Will Ben and Lauren make it down the aisle? Bachelor fans will have to stay tuned to find out, but Higgins and Bushnell have said they do not plan to wait long.
