Chris Evans, Elizabeth Olsen, And Ellen Consider Superhero Romance
Chris Evans, Elizabeth Olsen, and Ellen DeGeneres sat down for an interview that got way out of hand. Usually, nobody can beat Chris Evans. Elizabeth Olsen is about the only known woman who can challenge the Captain, having put a spell on him in Avengers: Age of Ultron. She put another one on him at the Captain America: Civil War European premiere with that dress. But as People reports, Ellen sees a lot more in their future than just superhero teamwork. She wants them to give reality to the rumors that they are dating.
Even if they were dating, they wouldn’t know it. The couple joked about texting each other after finding out about the dating rumors in order to find out if they were true. Since Elizabeth Olsen joined the cast of Marvel movies as Wanda Maximoff, the Scarlet Witch, she has had to face rumors that speculate which co-star she’s dating. Chris Evans has also been subject to the same type of rumors. But who has time to date when you are hard at work building the Marvel movie universe and expanding it in extraordinary directions?

Scarlet Witch is one of the more capable superheroes currently in the cast of the Avengers. The introduction of her and Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron set the Marvel Universe for another level of superhero battles, both having powers that would put any ordinary, Earth-bound superhero to the test. Doctor Strange, when it comes out later this year, will of course see the highest level of the mystical Marvel hero, when those kinds of powers rise onto the cinema screen. Heroes that can float in the air and toss baddies aside without laying a finger on them are always bound to draw the ire of villains everywhere.
Elizabeth Olsen is the younger sister to her twin sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley, the sisters made famous in their baby days on Full House. Now, they are celebrity powerhouses. As the Guardian reported, Elizabeth has tried her best to build her acting career a far distance from their shadows. She has definitely succeeded in doing that on the independent movie scene, and now that she has stepped into the Hollywood blockbuster, she hopes to take her career to another level.
But after that, after she firmly embeds herself in the Marvel Universe, she should definitely consider dating one of its poster children, Chris Evans. Elizabeth Olsen could, if Marvel lets her, play a big role in Avengers: Infinity War, considering the type of power needed to defeat a supervillain like Thanos. The heroes need someone who can lay a finger on the bad guy from a distance. And since Marvel doesn’t yet have Sue Storm and the Fantastic Four in their grasp, Wanda Maximoff is the next best thing.

As powerful as Chris Evans character is, it’s more his leadership ability and bravery that make him stand out. But he still depends on others for flight, and he wouldn’t be much of a match against the more supernatural villains that Marvel has in its ranks. But partnerships work great for Chris Evans. Elizabeth Olsen has just the powers he could match up with for a fight against the toughest villain. And in the dating world, the 34-year-old Chris Evans and 27-year-old Elizabeth Olsen could also be just as complementary.
But who has time to date when you have superhero duties to handle? It’s likely that even if they started dating, they would never have time to hang out, at least not until the Marvel Cinematic Universe evolves and other superheroes become more prominent. In the comics, the Avengers have had numerous variations and different members, so that isn’t a far off idea, especially considering the popular superheroes getting introduced into the Marvel Universe in Captain America: Civil War. But for Chris Evans, Elizabeth Olsen, and Marvel, this could be a match made in superhero heaven.
