‘The Vampire Diaries’ Season 7, Episode 21 Promo: Bonnie The New ‘TVD’ Villain?
The Vampire Diaries ended on a shocking note last week. Even though TVD fans knew Kat Graham was leaving the popular series, most assumed her character would die or disappear. Something far more interesting and tragic has occurred. It turns out that Rayna (Leslie-Anne Huff) did get a little piece of revenge. By the end of Episode 20, viewers discovered that Bonnie would be taking Rayna’s place as the new vampire huntress. With this new twist, what is going to happen on The Vampire Diaries Season 7, Episode 21?
According to Comic Book Movie, the extended promo for Season 7, Episode 21 has Bonnie Bennett’s friends “running for their lives.” Through the years, TVD fans learned that Bonnie was always determined, especially when she was incredibly focused on something. Now that she has become the vampire huntress, it will only make Bonnie more intense.
The Vampire Diaries character already knows a lot about Damon (Ian Somerhalder), Stefan (Paul Wesley) and her other fanged friends. This, along with the vampire huntress spell and Bonnie’s personality makes her dangerous. Kat Graham’s character might even become more dangerous than Rayna.
Despite Bonnie replacing Rayna as the vampire huntress, viewers are hoping that the actress doesn’t leave the show a villain. It is an incredibly shocking twist. However, Bonnnie is a fan-favorite. There must be some other way for Kat to exit The Vampire Diaries. Perhaps by the time the season finale airs, Damon, Stefan, Caroline and Enzo will figure out a way to reverse what Rayna has done.
What else is known about The Vampire Diaries Season 7, Episode 21? The synopsis for “Requiem For A Dream” states that the TVD characters are in for the shock of their lives. Even though Bonnie’s circumstances seem dire, her friends are not giving up yet.
“When Damon’s risky attempt to save Bonnie takes an unexpected turn, the consequences of his actions forces everyone to band together to help her pull through,” Spoilers Guide teased about Bonnie Bennett‘s storyline in Season 7, Episode 21. “Meanwhile, when a new threat leaves Caroline’s (Candice King) life in jeopardy, Stefan makes a rash decision that ultimately forces them to face the fallout from their relationship. Elsewhere, Enzo (Michael Malarkey) tries to hold it together as he painfully watches Bonnie in the fight of her life, while Matt (Zach Roerig) takes matters into his own hands to save one of his closest friends.”

Looking ahead to the May 13 episode of The Vampire Diaries doesn’t reassure fans. It seems that the efforts to save Bonnie have failed so far. Is there anything that can be done or is this the end of the Bonnie Bennett everyone loves?
“Despite their best efforts to help Bonnie through the harrowing predicament she now faces, Damon, Enzo and Caroline realize their options are running out and drastic measures need to be taken,” Spoiler TV wrote regarding The Vampire Diaries Season 7 finale press synopsis. “With their only chance of saving their friend lying inside the Armory, Stefan breaks the news to Caroline that they may need help from an unlikely source – her and Alaric’s twin daughters. Elsewhere, Enzo keeps Bonnie preoccupied by bringing her back to their cabin but when his plan takes an unexpected turn, it’ll be up to Damon to make the ultimate sacrifice to save his closest friends.”
As previously reported by The Inquisitr, the Gemini twins might be the key to saving Bonnie. However, will Alaric allow it? He cares for Bonnie, but his top priority is keeping his children safe, and he might not go along with the plan.
What do you think is going to happen in the final two episodes of The Vampire Diaries Season 7? Can Bonnie Bennett be saved and are the Gemini twins the key? Will the character leave TVD dead or a villain? Or will the writers give Kat Graham the farewell that she deserves?
