Prince William and Duchess Kate’s daughter Princess Charlotte Has New Photographs Released For First Birthday

Princess Charlotte’s first birthday celebration is already underway! All followers of the royal family are buzzing with excitement at the series of new photographs of Princess Charlotte, on the eve of her first birthday.

Prince William and Princess Kate have released some adorable photos of Princess Charlotte on their Twitter feed just in time for her very first birthday. The Duchess of Cambridge snapped these shots of the fashionable young princess at their Norfolk home.

These photos feature the youngest child of Will and Kate adorned in either pink or blue and white. Born on May 2, 2015, there has only a few rare glimpses of the young princess, including her christening and in a very recent photo sitting on the lap of her “Gan Gan,” Queen Elizabeth, in a photo celebrating the monarch’s 90th birthday.

Photos such as these are special as the Cambridges have been careful to guard their daughter’s privacy. This is indeed both a rare and splendid occasion that the royal family has released these photos right before Princess Charlotte’s first birthday, giving the world a rare glimpse into their private family life.

Based on the recent photos, the young princess is quite mobile, standing up on her own, holding onto a cart or sitting up on a chair. Surely, she will soon be running around and playing with her older brother.

From all reports, Charlotte is an exemplary child. The Daily Mail reports Prince William saying that “Charlotte is very easy. She is sweet.” While Prince Charles was reported as saying that his youngest grandchild sleeps through the night and has been “much easier on his mum” than Prince George was at the same age.

“The Duke and Duchess are happy to be able to share these family moments, ahead of their daughter’s first birthday. We hope that everyone enjoys these lovely photos as much as we do.”

The precious and affordable outfits worn in the photos for Princess Charlotte’s first birthday can be purchased and worn by any young subject dreaming of one day becoming a princess like Kate Middleton. Princess Charlotte wore the same pink, M&H floral dress that she recently wore in the portrait of her great-grandmother, taken by famed photographer Annie Leibowitz. Along with her pretty pink tights, the young princess dons pre-walker Earth Days shoes. This is the identical brand of shoes that her brother, Prince George, has worn and made extremely popular.

Princess Charlotte’s first birthday photo has her light brown hair delicately pulled back by a pink bow clip. In photos where the birthday girl is wearing blue, she wears two different shades of blue clips, complimenting her vivid blue eyes.

The Princess Charlotte first birthday photos were recently taken after the Cambridges returned from their trip to India and Bhutan. As she was already tucked into bed, Charlotte recently missed meeting President Obama. Instead, her charismatic older brother Prince George greeted the leader of the free world.

The Princess Charlotte first birthday celebration promises to include a lot of friends and festivities. Maternity nurse, Sarah Dixon, who worked for friends of the royal couple gave People Magazine a little insight into the festivities, and perhaps how the adorable Prince George will participate.

“George will enjoy all the birthday festivities, and I’m sure there will be a few of his friends invited too. He’ll help Charlotte open all her gifts – older siblings love to do that!”

Most likely, there will not be any photos released of the event, thus these photos were released on the Twitter feed.
