The Black Trump rap song from Thursday night’s The Daily Show with Trevor Noah was a hit, and Comedy Central has made the video available online. While Donald Trump is likely focused on the protesters in California, Daily Show contributor Roy Wood, Jr. introduced the world to his new alter ego, Black Trump. With a little help from fellow correspondent Jordan Klepper, Wood introduced Black Trump’s first single, “They Love Me,” with lyrics comprised solely of Donald Trump quotes.
As it begins to look more and more like Trump and Hillary Clinton will win their respective party’s nominations, Black Trump shows what the hot-sauce-wielding former secretary of State could be up against in November. Aside from the chorus, all of the lyrics are direct Donald Trump quotes, subtitled and dated throughout the video. The subjects range from “Lyin’ Ted” to the size of Trump’s hands to the comments Donald made about theoretically dating his own daughter.
Even guest Ricky Gervais called the video “great” without even being asked about it. Gervais was there to talk to Noah about his upcoming movie, Special Correspondents , which is now available exclusively on Netflix.
The song quotes Trump as saying he’s the only Republican candidate that can beat Hillary Clinton. On Friday evening, Trump tweeted the image above that supposedly shows he is tied with Hillary Clinton at 38 percent. It’s not clear based on the tweet what exactly the poll question was, who was answering the poll questions, how the poll was administered, or how the remaining 24 percent voted.

The catchy song had over 100,000 YouTube views less than 24 hours after it originally aired on Comedy Central. The music video gives producer credits to David Paul Meyer (who has worked with Trevor Noah and The Daily Show many times in the past) and editor credits to Mark Paone, who has been with The Daily Show since 1997.
The final credits of the video are, “Words: Donald Trump”.

Black Trump “They Love Me” lyrics
While Wood noted at Black Trump’s official site that the full lyrics were posted on Genius , a sample of the lyrics can be seen below. Again, all of these lyrics are Donald Trump quotes, from the 2016 presidential election campaign or prior:
Can you believe Ted Cruz who been killing our country? Lyin’ Ted Cruz used a picture of Melania Careful Lyin’ Ted, I’ll spill the beans on your woman … I have black guys counting my money The one who can beat Hillary, I’m not a Mitt Romney Remember I’m the only candidate who’s self-funding (Told ya!) Make America great again … Mexico is not our friend Build the wall I love the Mexicans Nobody has more respect for women Heidi Klum sadly, no longer a 10 (Truth!) … I’m so good looking I’m really rich Part of the beauty of me is that I am very rich
