Jennifer Aniston On Being Named ‘People’s Most Beautiful Woman, And Why She’ll Never Cut Her Hair Short
Jennifer Aniston has been named the World’s Most Beautiful Woman for 2016, according to People. The 47-year-old Friends actress revealed her anti-aging beauty secrets, as well as opening up about her marriage.
When Jennifer Aniston first found out she was being named the World’s Most Beautiful Woman, she was “very, very flattered,” the Friends star herself revealed in People‘s cover story.
“I thought, ‘Oh my God’. There was this sort of very excited, teenage-y kind of moment.”

Jennifer Aniston revealed one of her secrets that make her feel her best at all times: that she is healthy and strong. The Mother’s Day actress said that she has learned to accept her changing appearance over the years since she’s been in the spotlight.
“It’s funny, it’s a really quick transition from not a care and now all of a sudden, we’ve got to really be mindful of what we put inside our bodies.”
Jennifer Aniston said that today it’s all about how we take care of ourselves and how we sleep, adding that you can “get away with a lot” in your 20s. The gorgeous Friends star also revealed what prompted her to start taking care of her looks.
According to Jennifer Aniston, it happened early on in her acting career, when her agent told her she didn’t get cast because she was “too chubby.” And even though the actress was surprised by being called “too chubby,” she admits that her diet back then was “terrible,” consisting of milkshakes and French fries with gravy.
And now, Jennifer Aniston makes sure she exercises at least six days per week for about an hour and is strict about her diet. Because, clearly, the Friends star doesn’t want to be called “chubby” anymore!
However, Jennifer Aniston still allows herself to eat cheat foods every now and then. In particular, the Friends star sometimes eats chips, guacamole, and her husband’s, Justin Theroux’s, delicious pasta carbonara.
“I’m not as strict as I was. It was always sort of a monitored watch. Then I thought just give yourself moderation.”

But being beautiful and leading a healthy lifestyle are not the only two things that bring Jennifer Aniston joy. It’s being married to Justin Theroux that brings her the greatest joy, since he makes her laugh.

Besides, Theroux is very interesting and “unbelievably” talented in various areas and overall he’s just “a good man,” Jennifer Aniston described her husband, making millions of women around the world jealous.
Jennifer Aniston also revealed that if she could only try a new look and then instantly switch back, she would check out a pixie cut, as she is curious to see what she would look like with short hair.
“But I’ll never do it. Never. I’m a long hair girl. It’s like a security blanket.”
Jennifer Aniston says beauty is not about looks, it’s about inner confidence, kindness, peace and honesty. Also, beauty means not allowing people to criticize your life and make you feel like a failure. All that is “just toxic noise,” Aniston said.
But Jennifer Aniston is capable of giving not only beauty advice, but also career advice, according to Time. In her recent interview with Time, Archer and Criminal Minds star Aisha Tyler said Aniston once gave her a valuable piece of advice.
On the set of Friends, in which Tyler played the role of Ross and Joey’s love interest, Charlie, Jennifer Aniston told Tyler that she would always get her heart broken after not getting roles. Aniston told Tyler to find a way to have it not be that important.
“No matter where you are in your career. You’re always going to lose stuff to other people. You’re always going to get your heart broken. So you need to just find a way to have it not be that important.”
