Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell have been inseparable since the finale of ABC’s The Bachelor 2016 season aired in March. Ben and Lauren have done quite a bit of traveling since being able to go public as a couple, and now it looks like they’re settling into a life together in Colorado. From the looks of things, Lauren has been building a new friendship in Colorado that fans take as a very good sign. What’s the latest from Higgins and Bushnell?
Lauren Bushnell had said during the Bachelor: After the Final Rose special that she would soon be moving to Denver, Colorado, to live with Ben Higgins. She has now officially made the move, and it sounds as if she is settling in quite well already. Over the weekend, Lauren was posting quite a bit about basketball via her social media pages, as she is a huge Portland Trail Blazers fan. However, she also snuck in a Snapchat video where she was checking in on Higgins as he was shirtless and doing some work outside their home.
Higgins has been living in Denver for a while now, but the area is new to Bushnell. Luckily, it seems that she has connected with a fan-favorite “Bachelor Nation” veteran who will surely help her get settled in her new area. Trista Sutter, the first Bachelorette , lives in Vail with her hubby, Ryan, and their two kids, and it looks like the two ladies have already connected.
A fan tweeted to Ryan, Trista, Ben, and Lauren, noting that she would love to see the two pairs head out on a double date, as they are her favorite “Bachelor Nation” couples ever. Trista replied to everybody that it had to happen soon, and she noted that she loves Lauren. Bushnell very quickly posted as well, indicating that it needed to happen. She added, however, that she still needs their girl lunches, so it sounds as if these two ladies have already spent some quality time together.
Someday soon!! Halfway there today for a girls lunch in Denver! Love you @LaurenBushnell3 ! ? https://t.co/VIfyr31mzp

Trista and Lauren tweeted back-and-forth a bit, mentioning all of the various activities that they would love to make time to do together. Unfortunately, they aren’t exactly right down the block from one another, but the Sutter and Bushnell/Higgins duos are less than two hours apart, and it sounds like the ladies are game to make the effort to get together regularly. While Trista mentioned dinners, workouts, basketball games, soup making, and puppy shopping, she also snuck in a mention of wedding planning as well.
Just how is the wedding planning going for Ben and Lauren? These Bachelor lovebirds have consistently said that they do not plan to have a long engagement, and they recently teased that planning will probably begin soon . So far, they have not set a date, but both Bushnell and Higgins have indicated that they may get married before the end of the year. It is clear that Trista would be happy to help them navigate the process of throwing together a big network wedding, and if anybody could lend some valuable insight, it would be the Sutter family.
As fans of the franchise know, Trista and Ryan had the first televised Bachelor or Bachelorette wedding, and it was quite the extravaganza. While the Sutters have done plenty of reality television appearances since they fell in love more than a decade ago, they also can speak to other franchise couples about how helpful it can be to build a life away from the limelight. Seeing Sutter and Bushnell connect is surely a good sign for the newly-engaged Bachelor couple as they work on settling into a quiet life together away from the show.
Will Ben and Lauren have a wedding sooner rather than later? Folks are certainly hoping that they will, and Bachelor fans are anxious to hear more details as Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell start making specific plans. Ben’s runner-up, JoJo Fletcher , is looking for love on ABC’s The Bachelorette 2016 season, which is set to debut in May, and viewers are anxious to see if she can find the love of her life within this next group of bachelors much like Higgins seemed to find during his journey.
