Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie Reportedly Plan Permanent Move To London To Save Crumbling Marriage

Angelina Jolie’s marriage to Brad Pitt has come under intense fire as of late. While the two struggle to work through their complicated issues, it now appears as though a move overseas is in their immediate future. Are they planning on taking their family to London to save what’s left of their marriage?

According to the Daily Times, Jolie and Pitt are currently living just outside of London with their children, Maddox, 14, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 9, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 7. The couple is renting a home for around $21,000 per month, and they are considering making London their permanent home.

“The house is big, kid-friendly and has all the modern conveniences. They like that there are toy shops in town and that it’s not far from central London,” an insider shared. “It’s got that peaceful, leafy suburb vibe as well. They love being in London. Angie would pick it as their permanent home if she could.”

The potential move to London follows what has been a rough time for Jolie and Pitt over the past few months. Despite being together for some 10 years, reports have surfaced that they are headed for a divorce after just two years of marriage. The couple’s main issues center on Jolie’s rapid weight loss, although Pitt’s alleged cheating with his co-stars and flirting with the help has also entered the equation as of late.

According to Movie News Guide, Jolie’s weight has been a central issue in their crumbling marriage. Now, things have gotten so bad that Jolie’s father, Jon Voight, has reached out to Jolie to convince her to get help. However, considering Jolie’s strained relationship with Voight, his requests to talk with her have not gone over well with the actress.

With Voight’s offer of help rejected, it isn’t known if Jolie is willing to seek help from anyone else for her weight issues. Now that she has some free time on her hands, perhaps things will start to improve.

Meanwhile, Glamour is reporting that Pitt and Jolie are in London while he films his latest movie, an untitled WWII spy drama. The two have a history of renting out expensive homes while filming on location, including an $18,000 a night home in Thailand. Apparently, their new rental in Surrey boasts some 18,000 square feet and is close to the River Thames.

Although Brad Pitt will be busy with his film, Jolie has plans to spend valuable time with her children. This includes a few planned excursions in the city while Jolie works on a few humanitarian projects in the area. So far, Jolie has not released the details of her plans, but fans might be set for a few public sightings in the coming months.

Speaking of their children, Pitt recently noted that moving around has taken a toll on his kids, especially in the friends department. However, it has also allowed them a unique experience that includes staying in exotic places most people will never see.

“Our life is their normal. Because we’re migratory workers in a sense they have this wonderful thing where they get to be students of the world,” Pitt stated. “They have memories of being in Vietnam, or that time in Paris, or over in Calgary. The downside is friends, sleepovers, team sports – these have been the challenges that we’ve had to work out. We do those things, but we really have to go out of our way.”

While it looks as though Pitt and Jolie are planning on settling in London for the near future, the state of their marriage remains unclear. Considering all of the controversy surrounding their relationship, an extended stay in London with plenty of family time might be the thing they need to pull things back together.
