Lamar Odom Claims He Was Conned And ‘Manipulated’ Into Appearing On ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians’ Again

Lamar Odom continues to dish on his time on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. In his latest round of revelations, the former NBA star claims he has been manipulated into appearing on the hit reality series. Despite Odom’s health issues, it appears as though some of the Kardashians are using him to boost ratings for their show.

An inside source told Radar Online that despite making a miraculous recovery, Odom is still improving from his near-fatal overdose last fall. Not only is Odom still regaining his mental capacity, but he’s also acting like a different person. Even though his mental state remains questionable, the Kardashians are willing to feature him on their reality show.

“What’s even worse, Odom is being manipulated into doing things on the show by everyone because he just says ‘Yes,'” the insider shared. “Basically, they are asking him to do things on the show that create a crazy storyline. At this point, if they asked him to go skydiving, he’d just agree because he’s not in a right state of mind.”

Apparently, estranged wife Khloe Kardashian is not supportive of the decision to include Odom on the reality show. While Khloe and crew members question his role on the show, the insider revealed that they are going along with it because it’s Kris Jenner’s idea.

“[Kris Jenner] is behind it all. She wants the buzz for the show,” the source stated. “Khloe feels uncomfortable about it as do most of the crew.”

This news is not that surprising, especially considering how Jenner is usually the force behind the family’s life in front of the cameras. Whether or not she is doing it to exploit Odom is another matter.

Despite the reports of friendship and possible reconciliation, Enstarz is reporting that things between Odom and Khloe are not what they seem. An insider told the outlet that Khloe attempted to evict Odom from their home in Calabasas because the former Los Angeles Laker star was “having parties, with people coming and going at all hours.”

Khloe’s solution to that problem was to rent Odom a house in the same gated community so she could still help with his recovery, but they would not be living under the same roof.

Another source claimed that things have gotten so bad between Khloe and Lamar that he has even threatened to release more dirt on the family if things do not improve.

“Lamar could have other recordings of Khloe that he could make public and make a fortune off which could take down her family in the process,” the insider explained.

That being said, Hollywood Life is reporting that Odom and Khloe have spent a good chunk of time with each other lately. While fans continue to speculate on the status of their relationship, Khloe recently took to Instagram to quell rumors of a renewed romance.

In a video chat, Khloe told fans that her latest interactions with Odom do not mean they are back together.

“Just because you film with an ex, doesn’t mean you are with an ex. People can be cordial these days. It’s called the new millennium,” she stated.

As fans will recall, Khloe posted an earlier video that featured Odom.

“I want to have my first co-star on my Snapchat,” Khloe stated in the post to Instagram.

“What you at homie?” Odom replied.

Naturally, Odom’s appearance in the video sparked rumors that he and Khloe were back together. However, based on her latest video, it appears as though Khloe has no plans on getting back with her estranged husband.

At this point, it isn’t clear what is going on behind the scenes between Odom and the Kardashians. Whatever the case, it is clear that Odom is still recovering from his injuries and isn’t back to his former self. Moving forward, it will be interesting to see whether or not the Kardashians continue to exploit their relationship with the former NBA star and if Khloe follows through with her plans to re-file for a divorce.
