Gigi Hadid’s Friends Wish Supermodel Happy Birthday, But Zayn Malik Is Silent Since Vogue Photoshoot

Gigi Hadid turned 21 on Saturday and celebrated in style, surrounded by friends and family. The Victoria’s Secret runway model was surrounded by sister Bella, also a model, brother Anwar, as well as their step-siblings Alana and Marielle.

Gigi took to Instagram and Snapchat to document her birthday alongside her beautiful family in Los Angeles. And it looks like it’s going to be more than just a day or a week end for the supermodel who entitled her post “Birthday week begins.”

Taking a break from her packed schedule, Gigi Hadid shared her family snaps with her 16.4 million Instagram followers and received loads of birthday wishes from her rich and famous friends.

But one important character in the Gigi Hadid story was missing, and it’s none other than former One Direction member and current boyfriend Zayn Malik.

Since the loved-up shared a Vogue photoshoot in Naples, praised by all as the picture of love and happiness, Malik’s been noticeably absent from Gigi Hadid’s public life.

And not only has Zayn been super silent about his famous girlfriend, Gigi’s ex Joe Jonas has, for once, been pretty vocal about her new relationship.

Jonas and Hadid had been dating for five months, and only two weeks after their split, Gigi and Zayn went public with their relationship.

The power couple has been really loved up ever since, offering fans glimpses of their life on social media with Zayn often praising his supermodel girlfriend.

Recently, Hadid and Malik were pictured during a photoshoot in Naples for Vogue, sparkling rumours of wedding and leaving fans wondering if they were taking their relationship a step further.

The supermodel was also celebrated by her friends and designer celebrities on Twitter, including Karlie Kloss, Lili Aldridge and Tommy Hilfiger among many others.

Gigi’s best friend Taylor Swift, who always shows up when it comes to celebrating her squad gal pals, commemorated Hadid’s birthday by offering her a cake on a private jet Sunday night, as the Daily Mail reported.

The moment was documented by Swift’s boyfriend, DJ Calvin Harris, who posted the video on their way to Coachella.

Taylor also posted a more low-key, chilled picture of Gigi Hadid chilling on a couch with a cat, which she captioned “this beautiful, intelligent, thoughtful, hilarious person turned 21 today!!! I love you @gigihadid!!”
