‘Law & Order: SVU’ Season 17, Episode 20 Photos And Promo For ‘Fashionable Crimes’
Law & Order: SVU will have a favorite character returning for one episode. Richard Belzer starred as John Munch and as previously reported by the Inquisitr, the actor will show up in Season 17, Episode 20. Besides Munch paying a visit, what else is known about the episode titled “Fashionable Crimes?” The synopsis and a promo clip have been released for the upcoming episode. Also, there are sneak peek photos teasing what fans can expect on the NBC police drama.
Unfortunately, Law & Order: SVU is on another break. According to Carter Matt, the series will not return until May 4 due to NBC airing a new show called Strong.
As for what to expect when the next episode of SVU airs, “Fashionable Crimes” will have John Munch returning when a familiar suspect captures the attention of detectives. Years ago, Munch and Detective Fin Tutuola (Ice-T) were suspicious of a fashion photographer. However, no charges could be filed, and the photographer remained a free man. In Season 17, Episode 20 of Law & Order: SVU, the same fashion photographer is investigated when a model accuses him of a sex crime. When hearing this, Munch comes back to the Special Victims Unit to work on the case.

“A young model is raped by a renowned fashion house photographer,” Spoilers Guide revealed about the next episode of SVU, “who looks to his successful brother to make the charges disappear.”
The network also released 15 sneak peek photos for “Fashionable Crimes.” John Munch and Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) are seen together, a blonde victim is emotional while laying in a hospital bed and other women are featured in the pictures. This seems to imply that multiple victims will finally come forward. The images also show Benson, a mystery woman and ADA Rafael Barba (Raul Esparza) meeting outdoors.
Eventually, Benson serves what appears to be a warrant in a photography studio and the inside of a courtroom is seen. There is also a photo of Benson posing with her son, Noah. Olivia has a big smile on her face and appears to be looking at someone. It seems likely that she is showing off her little boy to John Munch.
Based on these sneak peek photos for Law & Order: SVU Season 17, Episode 20, it appears that the suspect does face charges, but will they stick? Or will the fashion photographer use his brother’s money to get away with sexual crimes once again?
In other SVU news, this is the last season that will have Warren Leight serving as showrunner. He will continue his career by focusing on other projects. Another news item for the series comes from The Hollywood Reporter. The website wrote that an episode inspired by The Bachelor was airing soon. Since then, further details have been released, including a synopsis and air date.

“The producers of a reality dating series make Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and the SVU part of the show,” Spoiler TV revealed about the episode inspired by The Bachelor, “when they investigate a contestant’s claim that she was raped.”
The promo clip for “Fashionable Crimes” reveals a bit more information about the next episode. Several models posed for the accused photographer. When questioned, the suspect said that “photography is seduction.” Despite many models being attacked, nobody seems to want to testify due to their fear of being blacklisted from other modeling jobs. Will the models change their minds or is the only victim brave enough to come forward forced to testify on her own?
What do you think will happen on Law & Order: SVU Season 17, Episode 20? Will a repeat offender finally get caught in “Fashionable Crimes?” What is your reaction to Richard Belzer returning as Detective John Munch for this special case? Find out what happens when NBC airs the next episode of Special Victims Unit on May 4.
