One Direction Is Shattered: Can Liam Payne, Gigi Hadid, And Kendall Jenner Glue Harry Styles And Zayn Malik Back Together Again?

One Direction members have been going off in all directions, starting with Zayn Malik, who was the first to go solo over a year ago. Within the year, the rest of the band decided to take a year off to assess their options. While the rest of the guys were assessing, Liam Payne was trying to glue everyone back together. From the very beginning, he’s been all about bringing the band into a unity of singular direction, which they really never had before.

Liam Payne, always the peacemaker, was the only One Direction member to stay in touch with Zayn Malik, according to Capital FM. The others didn’t even return his calls. Liam has consistently stayed in contact with all the band members. He was always there for them. He was around after Louis Tomlinson’s son was born. It may have been more than a coincidence when Louis Tomlinson finally reached out to Zayn following the birth of his son.

One Direction’s Liam Payne is probably their most valuable player right now if keeping the group together is the goal. Liam not only tries to keep the Direction guys together by encouraging band members to stay in touch, he also hits back at rumors that put pressure on the band. He recently attacked Larry Stylinson rumors as described in this Inquisitr article. While all members deny Larry Stylinson rumors, Liam Payne is the most bitterly outspoken against the Stylinson fanfiction, especially when presented as truth.

“It’s just annoying when it’s so stupid. It becomes like a conspiracy or like a cult, the people that watch them and think that every move they make is a gesture toward them being together, and I know it’s not true and it makes me mad.”

One Direction Members felt increasingly awkward about the Larry Stylinson rumors and other inferences that band members had romantic or sexual relationships together. This may have been at the heart of their breakup, according to this Inquisitr article.

Zayn Malik described how awkward it was.

“There’s no secret relationships going on with any of the band members. It’s not funny, and it still continues to be quite hard for them. They won’t naturally go put their arm around each other because they’re conscious of this thing that’s going on, which is not even true. They won’t do that natural behavior.”

One Direction members, according to all accounts, have been tormented by Larry Stylinson, and it was allegedly a factor in the breakup. The guys could not figure out how to interact in the wake of innuendos, which surfaced every time they embraced or even looked at each other. Did it become too awkward to even continue performing together?

Gigi Hadid has enlisted Kendall Jenner in an attempt to fix Zayn’s relationship with Harry Styles, according to Hall of Fame Magazine. Presumably, if all four of them to go on a double date, Malik and Styles could become friends again.

Could One Direction be repaired by a double date? While it may seem a bit optimistic to think that one double date could solve all the problems in the band, it could be another step toward unity. Liam Payne has fought to put them back together for over a year, and now he has two allies in Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner.

Zayn Malik wants to make it work now. Maybe not the band, but he’d love to see Harry and work their personal differences out. Capital FM reports a New! Magazine source spilled on Zayn’s feelings about Harry Styles.

“Zayn has told Gigi he wants to mend fences with Harry. Also, Gigi wants the four of them to double date.”

Zayn Malik’s departure was not about Larry Stylinson, according to Malik’s account of things anyway. He just wanted to have more freedom of artistic expression, and it has taken the rest of the band this long to begin to understand Malik’s struggle not to be mainstream.

Harry Styles seems to be following in Zayn Malik’s footsteps, now as he too seeks a solo career. Could it be that actually trying to produce his own solo album has spawned a bit of understanding for his old pal? Fans can only hope that after their year of silence, Styles can forgive Malik for leaving so abruptly.

One Direction could go in many different directions now. Each member could go solo. Two or more of them could get together as One Direction. But is there a possibility that all five could reunite? The possibility of the band reuniting with all five members has never been closer than it is right now, but it seems to be up to Harry Styles to take the next step.
