Lauren Bushnell Regretting Engagement To Ben Higgins? Wishes She Was ‘The Bachelorette’ And Not JoJo Fletcher?

Lauren Bushnell came out on top when she beat JoJo Fletcher on The Bachelor. However, while Bushnell struggles to begin her new life with Ben Higgins away from the cameras, Fletcher is enjoying her time in the spotlight on The Bachelorette. Is Bushnell jealous with how things turned out?

According to Movie News Guide, both Bushnell and Fletcher appeared supportive of each other as they started the next chapter in their lives. However, with Fletcher now getting all the attention and her pick of a new man, Bushnell is starting to feel a little jealous of the former runner-up.

Even more, Bushnell might be having second thoughts about her upcoming wedding with Higgins. After all, once the wedding is over, their time as the center of attention will be over, at least on reality TV. Although it has not been confirmed, Bushnell doesn’t want to settle down just yet, especially after seeing Fletcher get the chance to have 26 men chasing her on The Bachelorette.

Apart from having her choice of men, Bushnell is also envious of how Fletcher gets to travel to exotic places for the show. Coupled with the fact that Fletcher gets to choose who she wants to be with, Bushnell is apparently more than a little jealous with Fletcher’s change of circumstances. Will all of that change her plans to marry Higgins?

Despite all the jealousy, it still appears as though Bushnell and Higgins are going through with their plans to wed. In fact, The Stir is reporting that the two Bachelor stars recently made a trip to L.A. where they may have negotiated a TV deal to broadcast their wedding.

The two traveled to Hollywood to pick up the remainder of Lauren Bushnell’s belongings to take with them back to Higgins’ home in Denver. However, their stay in the area has been prolonged, which might indicate they are going to follow in the footsteps of Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici and have the ceremony on TV.

Of course, the two might just be in the area to move Bushnell out of her old place. While it would be a smart move and a big payday to televise their wedding, nothing official has been confirmed. At least it is clear that their relationship is still going strong despite the reports that they were having difficulties.

Meanwhile, as far as Fletcher is concerned, the reality star is apparently having a blast on The Bachelorette. An inside source told Movie News Guide that Fletcher is making the most of her time on the show while all Bushnell has to look forward to is her wedding and eventual fade from the limelight.

“JoJo is having the time of her life filming The Bachelorette, and Lauren’s just a girl with a fiancé,” the insider shared.

According to Perez Hilton, not only is Fletcher having a good time on The Bachelorette, but she’s also well over her past feelings for Higgins. In the first promotional poster released for the upcoming season, Fletcher posed in a gorgeous red dress with a caption that referenced her former romance with Higgins.

“From Ben to 26 new men,” reads the tagline.

As fans will recall, Higgins famously told Fletcher that he loved her just prior to dumping her for Bushnell. Despite the rough ousting, it appears as though Fletcher has fully moved on with her life and will have her choice of 26 men to help her along. Based on her stunning look in the promo poster, Fletcher won’t have any trouble finding a new man. Whether or not that ends with an engagement is yet to be seen.

The new season of The Bachelorette is set to premiere May 23 on ABC.
