Disney Channel Will Air A Ton Of Original Movies In Huge 4-Day, 51-Movie Marathon
Sometimes, your childhood doesn’t have to come straight from the time when you were actually a child. The Disney Channel realizes that adults sometimes love the same movies that children love, and that’s why they’re having a movie marathon for the ages. In celebration of its 100th original movie, Disney Channel is going to air 51 original movies over the course of four days and bring you some nostalgic awesomeness.
In 1997, the Disney Channel Original Movie franchise began with Under Wraps, and now they’re about to air the 100th movie ever. Adventures in Babysitting is set to premiere later this year, and it will be the official century mark for a franchise that includes some serious classics.
Adventures in Babysitting is not necessarily a remake or a sequel to the 1987 film that starred Elisabeth Shue and was directed by Christopher Columbus, but it has a bit of the same premise, according to E! Online. A couple of babysitters are bored and look to find some fun in the city and end up losing one of their kids.In honor of the 100th original movie, Disney Channel is giving 51 of the greatest original movies ever and it will be fantastic. Over a period of four days, the marathon will air some of the greatest films from morning to night so be prepared for High School Musical, Halloweentown, Camp Rock, and many more.
