Christina Aguilera Hair Makeover: Singer Goes Purple For ‘The Voice’ Press Junket

Christina Aguilera’s hair was the talk of the press junket for NBC Universal’s The Voice as the singer showed up in vivid shades of purple in her trademark blonde hair.

The 31-year-old singer showed up to the event sporting the bright purple and even had matching eyeshadow, HollywoodLife.com reported. It had been a while since Christina Aguilera’s hair had seen any kind of change away from the platinum blonde she had become known for, Us Weekly reported.

In addition to the change in Christina Aguilera‘s hair, the singer also showed up with some other fashion highlights like deep bronzed skin, a curve-hugging black-and-white mini, and an edgy leather jacket, the report said.

The singer has been experimenting with her wardrobe throughout her run on The Voice. During Season 2, she showed up in everything from daring outfits bearing her cleavage to “a record-inspired fascinator,” Us Weekly noted.

The Huffington Post reported that the press junket outfit was “standard Xtina” with the tight leather jacket and spiky Louboutins. The report described Christina Aguilera’s hair as getting the My Little Pony treatment with its purple tips in the ombre style.

“I like to keep it fresh and interesting,” the the NBC competition’s judge told Us Weekly back in April about her style on the show. “I get bored and I’m an artist first and foremost. I’m from the world of making videos and touring and I love theatrics.”
