Lamar Odom Blames Khloe Kardashian & ‘KUWTK’ For Downward Spiral [Report]

Lamar Odom is allegedly pointing the finger at Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner for his recent battles with drug and alcohol abuse.

According to a new report by Radar Online, Odom believes that his life started to take a downward turn when he became entangled with the reality family after he met and quickly wed Khloe Kardashian in 2009, resulting in his downward spiral, reported the Daily Mail.

The site is claiming that a source close to Lamar recently revealed that he felt he “started to go off the rails” after he began appearing on Kris Jenner’s orchestrated Kardashian E! reality shows, including Keeping Up with the Kardashians and his own spinoff with Khloe, Khloe & Lamar, which ran between 2011 and 2012.

“When he met her and started appearing on all of Kris Jenner’s reality shows, that’s when he started to go off the rails,” a Kardashian source told Radar Online. “Lamar said that he was so happy playing for the Lakers and playing with Kobe [Bryant] and his life started to fall apart after he met Khloe.”

The source also claimed that Odom allegedly “blames Khloe and her family” for his recent health and addiction issues, which included a three-month hospital stint after he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel. He has reportedly been telling friends that “being on the shows was the beginning of his terrible times.”

“Lamar ignores the fact that he is responsible for his own actions,” Radar Online’s insider continued of Odom. “But his life became a mess after Khloe, that’s undeniable.”

Reports that Lamar Odom is placing the blame for his recent issues on Khloe Kardashian and the rest of the Kardashian family comes just days after People confirmed that Khloe was again preparing to file for divorce from the basketball player after putting their divorce on hold during Odom’s health crisis.

The site revealed last week that after Kardashian initially halted proceedings to be by Odom’s side as he recovered in the hospital, she is now ready to push forward with the formalities to end their marriage.

“She plans on refiling for divorce soon. She and Lamar are just figuring out the finances first,” a Kardashian source revealed, noting that one of the driving forces behind Khloe’s decision to go ahead with the divorce is Odom’s alleged decision to continue drinking despite his health scare.

“She doesn’t agree with some of Lamar’s choices in the past few weeks,” the source told People, “Khloe was there for Lamar when he needed her. She spent months making sure he got the best care and was able to recover. Lamar was her main focus, and it was draining for her. Lamar is ready to be on his own now.”

The site previously reported that Kardashian has been growing increasingly worried for her estranged husband in recent weeks and has been attempting to get Odom back on track towards a healthier lifestyle.

“Khloe is very worried about Lamar and his behavior,” an insider told the site earlier this month, who revealed that the basketball star “refuses to listen” to Khloe.

“He actually said to her, ‘Nothing will happen to me. Look how I survived the last time,'” said the source.

People also claimed that Kardashian has been supporting Odom financially since he exited the hospital in January, which includes the reality star paying the rent on his multi-million dollar luxury California home.

“Khloe supports Lamar financially in every way,” the source said, adding that Kardashian also paid the bill for Odom’s lengthy hospital stay.
