Yolanda Foster Signs A Lucrative Book Deal To Share Her Lyme Disease Journey: Will She Include Her Hundreds Of Sick Selfies?
It looks like Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster’s countless sick selfies will come in handy in the next few months. Reality Tea reported that Foster landed a lucrative book deal to share her Lyme disease journey with her fans. Yolanda stated that she will share the different treatments she’s tried and compile a list of what has worked for her and what was a waste of time.
“I just signed a deal. So, I am, right now, trying to find a co-writer to do it with me. And I’ll be focused on that for the next six months. I’m excited because I have so much to share. It’s been such a long journey.”
Yolanda noted that included in her book will be never-seen-before selfies of her getting Lyme disease treatment all over the world. Foster explained to Andy Cohen on Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live that she will be working with a co-writer over the next six months to pen the book outlining her struggle with Lyme disease.
Just a few months ago, Yolanda revealed that she has been waiting for several years to write her about her (personal) journey with Lyme disease and hopes that her story will help others battling the disorder.
“I have been wanting to write a book, obviously, for four years, but haven’t had the brain power to do so. I’ve documented my entire journey with photographs because I learned, in today’s world, everything is kind of visual. People don’t really read that much anymore. Pictures really hit home.”
Foster laughed and noted that the images she’s captured over the past four years may be shocking to some of her fans. Yolanda explained the RHOBH co-stars get bent out of shape about her pictures on social media with IV’s. According to Yolanda, the images [she] saved for her book are much more shocking. She traveled the world and tried a few pretty extreme treatments to win the battle with Lyme disease.
“It’s funny because the girls on the show kind of judge me for posting a picture with an IV – which is nothing compared the pictures that I have and the story that I have to tell. It’s very detailed. It’s about all the treatments that I’ve tried, all the different places that I’ve been in the world, but mainly it’s about my spiritual journey that came with this.”

At the end of the day, Foster said in a perfect world she wished that her friend on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills shared her Lyme disease journey instead of debating if she had Munchausen’s syndrome. Yolanda found the whole situation sad and wished that just one of them would have stood by her instead of jumping on the bandwagon of Munchausen’s.
“Obviously, I would’ve wished that my friends would’ve trusted my journey and would’ve been part of it more than they were. I have opened the book of Lyme disease and brought more awareness to the disease more than probably anybody in the world. For that, I am grateful to Bravo at the end of the day, and that’s what I kept focusing on.”
Sound off in the comments section on how you feel about Yolanda Foster withholding the Lyme disease treatments that helped her for her book deal.
