Lindsay Lohan Is Engaged, Despite Denial By Her Rep, Learn More About Her Russian Beau
An appearance by Lindsay Lohan at a Duran Duran concert recently was enough to spark talk regarding the star’s relationship status. LiLo sported a rock on her finger while attending the concert, signalling onlookers to speculate that the Freaky Friday actress is now engaged to her beau of 8 months, Egor Tarabasov.
On April 12, however, the flames that blew up this story were put out by a denial statement given by Lohan’s rep. The rep spoke to People.
“This story is untrue and holds no merit.”
However, two days following the report by People, within which Lohan’s spokesperson denied the engagement, the New York Post relayed verification of the engagement, given by a number of Lindsay Lohan’s friends. This is an explanation for the fact that Lohan continued to wear the 5-carat emerald ring following the rumors churning.

An insider who divulged details to the Post shared that Lindsay had her eye on a specific ring and made it known how much she loved it. Egor surprised the actress with it not long after.
“She was saying how much she loved it and he went back and secretly got it. She didn’t see it coming,”
Wonderwall shared details about Lohan and her reported fiancé’s actions following the news of the engagement.
“On April 14, Lindsay and her 22-year-old Russian businessman beau were spotted in New York’s SoHo neighborhood, where Lindsay braced herself from the chilly spring air but made no effort to hide the massive sparkler on her hand. Ditto the day before, when a yellow coat-clad LiLo sported the ring in plain view of photographers as she joined her father, Michael Lohan, at Lure Fishbar for lunch.”
Regardless as to what the truth of their relationship status is, the couple is completely smitten with each other as Egor has become a constant on Lohan’s social media page with the “L” word just as frequently added as images of her new beau are.

Lindsay and Egor have also moved in together in a pad in London, where Lindsay jetted to in order to regroup and rebuild after making a bit of a mess of her life in the United States. Egor was introduced to the actress’ parents over the holidays, which is always a big step in a solid relationship.
All members of the Lohan clan seem to approve of the businessman, as well. Dina and Michael Lohan, Lindsay’s parents, are elated that their daughter has found Egor, stating that he “keeps [Lindsay] out of trouble.” Given her recent history, it’s not an easy task; Lohan’s beau deserves a bit of praise.
Lohan’s younger brother, also Michael, is clearly on board with the new addition to his sister’s life. Lindsay, Egor, Michael junior and Michael’s girlfriend, joined together for a cute pic. Lindsay captioned the post on social media fittingly.
“[M]y brother and his beautiful woman with me and my love.”
Who is this 22-year-old who has won Lohan’s heart? The New York Post has done a great job at outlining the background and mysterious ambition of this Russian-born beau.
“Meet 22-year-old Egor Tarabasov. Unlike his spotlight-seeking love, the hunky Russian seems to prefer flying under the radar, with a social media account on lockdown and a London-based real estate business with no working Web site. Though known to run with a wealthy crowd of other Russian émigrés, this seems to be Tarabasov’s first foray into dating a household name.”
Regardless of who Egor is, or whether he and Lindsay Lohan are engaged, they are clearly in love. He seems to be a great influence on the star, who has had a little more than a troubled past.
