Adam Levine ‘Annoyed’ With ‘Loud-Mouthed’ Miley Cyrus On The Set Of ‘The Voice,’ Will He Leave The Show Over The New Addition?
Miley Cyrus won’t appear on The Voice until next season and yet she is already creating plenty of behind-the-scenes drama. In fact, the singer has been feuding with Adam Levine ever since her appearance as an advisor on this season of the show. With production on the new season underway, will the two carry on their beef in front of the cameras?
Cyrus was featured on the current season of The Voice as a special key advisor. According to Movie News Guide, Cyrus and Levine started fighting with each other on day one. The biggest point of contention between the two stars appears to be their personalities and ability to get under each other’s skin. “They both have short attention spans,” a source told the Us Weekly.
Cyrus is part of a major shakeup on the show and will replace Christiana Aguilera in the fall. The decision to hire Cyrus was met with a mixed reaction from fans, especially since most fans expected the network to bring back Gwen Stefani as a judge. Considering her ongoing feud with Levine, producers may have been better off with Stefani.
At the same time, Radar Online is reporting that production has already started for the new season. Unfortunately, the feud between the two judges has not stopped, and Adam Levine continues to hammer Cyrus at every turn.“Adam and Miley were non-stop bickering during their last taping together,” a source explained to the outlet. “He nitpicks almost every single thing she says. Adam seems to find Miley to be extremely loud-mouthed and absolutely annoying!”
Apparently, things have gotten so bad that producers are starting to re-consider bringing Cyrus on as a judge. According to The Hollywood Gossip, producers have tried everything and yet Cyrus and Levine simply cannot get along.
“Executives are now second-guessing their decision to bring Miley Cyrus on full-time because she cannot get along with Adam to save her life,” an insider revealed.
Of course, the decision to bring Cyrus onto the show was based on the idea that she would attract a younger audience. While this might still hold true, it will be interesting to see if the added audience is worth dealing with all of the off-camera drama.
In addition to Cyrus, the network has announced that Alicia Keys will replace Pharrell Williams in the coming season. At this time, it isn’t known how well Keys and Cyrus have gotten along, though it is known that Blake Shelton has taken a liking to the “Wrecking Ball” singer. Whatever ends up happening, Cyrus’ impact on the show has already been felt and that might not be a bad thing.Cyrus’ appearance on The Voice isn’t the only thing making the headlines. According to Pop Sugar, rumors have circulated in recent months that Cyrus has gotten back with her former boyfriend Liam Hemsworth. Although fans have doubted their reunion, the two recently made a public appearance together for the premiere of The Huntsman: Winter’s War.
Cyrus and Hemsworth did not walk the red carpet together, but a few photos of the event did make it to social media. In one Twitter post, a lucky fan uploaded an image of Cyrus and Hemsworth with the caption: “For all you assuming I tell lies… #MileyCyrus #TheHuntsman #liamhemsworth.”
At the same time, an eyewitness told Us Weekly that Cyrus and Hemsworth held hands at one point during the premiere, though they tried their best to keep a low profile.“They were smiling and looked happy to be together,” the source shared. “Miley [was] looking adoringly up at Liam as he led her out of the theater.”
The new season of The Voice is expected to premiere this coming fall.
