Pitt-Jolie Spent $1.6 Million On Wedding Rings

When you are the most powerful couple in Hollywood, no expense will be spared for your wedding day, and that was apparently the case for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt who threw down a reported $1.6 million on a pair of wedding bands from famed jeweler Robert Procop.

Procop, the man who use to run British jewellers Asprey & Garrard, produced matching bands for Jolie-Pitt at the Grand Hotel du Cap Ferrat in the South of France.

A source close to the wedding rings tells the Sun (UK):

“Robert’s been busy all year making Brad and Angie’s wedding rings. They are matching rose gold bands with a tablet-cut diamond in them and their vows to each other engraved in them. You can’t see it with the naked eye but they both know they’re there.”

The large amount would come into line with the rumored $250,000 Pitt spent on Jolie’s engagement ring. It is believed that Pitt spent a full year designing Jolie’s engagement ring.

Village of Correns mayor Michael Latzv recently revealed that the couple were set to be wed this past weekend.

Tying the not means Brad Pitt will likely have a bit more free time on his hands, as previously reported it was Pitt and not Angelina Jolie who took the reigns of the couple’s wedding planning.

The couple have not revealed where they will be honeymooning; then again do you really need to go anywhere else when your wedding is already happening in the south of France?
