Love By Chance–Hallmark Movie Synopsis
Claire is a busy pastry chef who loves her job but lacks a loving relationship with a nice man. To help out, Claire’s meddling mommy, Helen, makes it her mission to find someone suitable for her daughter. She knows that Claire will never do it, so Helen takes it upon herself to set up a fake dating profile at Destiny Match — a popular dating site for singles. The profile, which is listed under Claire1, belongs to a 33-year old Capricorn who is looking for a man that likes “lazy mornings” in bed, trendy coffee shops, and breakfast at the local cafe.
Eventually, Helen meets someone that she believes is perfect for her daughter — a man named Eric who works as a doctor.
After agreeing to go out with Claire, Eric falls for her, and the two begin a relationship. Now, Eric is left feeling troubled, since Helen has made him promise not to tell Claire that their meeting wasn’t designed by fate but was a strategic dating match up by her own mother.
As soon as the secret is out, a furious Claire breaks off the relationship with Eric and reprimands her mother for getting involved. When the dust settles, will Claire realize that Eric is the one? And will she begin to see that a love connection was made, even though fate didn’t bring them together?

The Life Of A Pastry Chef
A pastry chef is a chef that specializes in designing and creating delicious pastries, cakes, and other desserts. Though, it sounds simple. The sweet life of a pastry chef is very detailed and demanding. A pastry chef must be artistically talented with a knack for executing ideas and bringing those ideas to fruition while at the same time adding the right finishing touches to make their work look flawless. The American salary for a pastry chef is about $50,000 per year — and up to $100,000 on the executive end.
Hallmark’s Love By Chance is produced by the Hallmark Channel and Unity Pictures. Craig Forrest, Ron French, and Stephen Harmaty were producers on the original movie, with Michael G. Larkin as executive producer. Music was provided by Jeff Tymoschuk, according to the Internet Movie Database (IMDB).
