‘Bachelor’ Chris Soules Reveals The Love Of His Life, Turns Down ‘Bachelor In Paradise’
Despite being one of the most talked about stars on reality TV, The Bachelor star Chris Soules is giving up the fame. Following his break-up with Whitney Bischoff, Soules was all but set for an appearance on Bachelor in Paradise. However, the reality star recently shared that he’s stepping away from the limelight and following his true passion: farming.
In a recent message on Twitter, Soules squashed rumors that he would appear on the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise. Instead of continuing his rise to fame and having the opportunity to find love once again, Soules is focusing on his love for all things farming.
“Despite rumors I will be foregoing the Bachelor in Paradise for my one true love of corn, soybeans and piggies,” Soules shared.
According to MStars News, Soules calls Iowa his home and made his reality TV debut on The Bachelorette vying for Andi Dorfman’s heart. Ever since Soules and Dorfman shared a kiss in front of the cameras, his career in the realm of reality TV soared. Along with taking the lead on The Bachelor, Soules also participated on Dancing With the Stars.
Fans were certainly looking forward to seeing Soules back in action, though his decision to quit reality television is not that surprising. After all, Soules has a history of giving to charities and has frequently returned to his farm to get a break from the spotlight. In speaking about his faithful fans, Chris Soules told Oprah that he is thankful for their continued support and that he tries his best to use his fame for good. For the most part, this includes his activity in the charity world, which is one reason why he has garnered so many fans over the years.
“I have got to do a lot of cool charity events and kind of made it a priority,” he stated in the interview.
Furthermore, Celeb Dirty Laundry is reporting that Soules hinted about quitting reality TV following the latest season of The Bachelor. While fans watched Ben Higgins give his final rose to Lauren Bushnell, one fan took to social media to ask Soules about his future on television. In reply, Soules stated that he wants to let others have a crack at it.
“No, there are too many good guys out there that deserve the opportunity. I’m happy to date like a normal guy,” Soules stated.
Although fans were disappointed that Soules will not be on Bachelor in Paradise, they have reacted with overwhelming support for his decision. According to Movie News Guide, fans have expressed their praise for Soules and are happy that he is focusing on his personal life and helping charitable organizations.
That being said, fans can still expect Soules to make random appearances in public. In fact, the reality star recently appeared for Bachelor Nation alongside J.J. Lane, Ben Zorn, and Nick Viall. The foursome was spotted hanging out in West Hollywood at the Boo Hoo Store. Unfortunately, fans will not see him grace the small screens anytime soon.Apart from the public outings with friends, Soules does make special appearances through his personal website, though it is unclear what kind of events he supports. For now, fans will have to settle on knowing that Soules is happy on his farm and hope that he makes a return to reality TV at some point in the near future.
At this time, it is unknown if Soules has found a girlfriend in his hometown. Whatever his reasons for quitting reality TV, it is clear that he doesn’t think another dating show will help him find the love of his life.
