Ben Affleck And Jennifer Garner Divorce Turn Nasty? His Plans To Move For ‘Justice League’ Could Be To Blame

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner have been through a lot ever since announcing their plans to divorce last year. Although the two successfully lived together after the break-up, things started to unravel after Garner seemingly confirmed Affleck’s affair. With the Batman v Superman star getting ready to move to London, is their divorce turning nasty?

Soon after the couple announced their divorce, reports surfaced that Affleck had cheated on Garner with their children’s nanny, Christine Ouzounian. According to Radar Online, Garner confirmed the affair in her recent interview with Vanity Fair, which resulted in a public response from Affleck. Unfortunately for him, Garner did not take kindly to his comments.

“Jen went nuclear — she’s livid with Ben. They’d both privately agreed that after everything he put her through, she would be the only one to publicly speak out,” a source told the outlet.

Now, it appears as though Ben Affleck is preparing to move to North London to reprise his role as Batman in Justice League: Part One. The only caveat is that actor wants to take Garner and his children with him, which might not go over well with his estranged wife.

“Ben wants his family close when he’s working, and staying together in a new country will be a great experience, despite himself and Jennifer being no longer a couple,” the source continued.

The Batman v Superman star’s desire to keep his family together is not surprising. After all, he has stated in the past that he and Garner are still friends and that they will always keep the interest of their kids in mind whenever they make decisions. This includes their decision to live together despite the divorce.

“We’re good friends and we’re doing our best and our kids are fabulous and we’re working our best for them,” Affleck shared during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres.

That being said, the Daily Mail is reporting that Affleck and Garner recently made a public appearance together in Los Angeles. Despite their past history of keeping a positive outward appearance, the two looked unhappy about something.

Affleck sported a pair of sweatpants and a hoodie for the casual outing and kept his grizzled look, complete with a scruffy beard and messy hair. For her part, Garner wore a pair of jeans and a dark blue blazer. The exact reason for their outing is unclear.

According to OK! Magazine, the latest public appearance took place right after an argument between the two stars. It is unknown what the two were arguing about, although it may have had something to do with Affleck’s decision to move to London.

The photos also seem to back up reports that Garner and Affleck are getting ready to separate for good. In fact, an inside source told the outlet that Garner is “talking about custody arrangements” and revealed that “the split has turned nasty.”

That being said, it appears as though Garner is willing to make the trip with Affleck to London. While the actress has not officially addressed the rumors, a source recently explained to the Sun that Affleck and Garner want to maintain their odd arrangement in order to keep things as normal as possible for their kids.

“Ben and Jennifer are a very strong cohesive unit. They have created a new normal, which will continue while they are living in London,” the source shared.

Even if Affleck cannot get his entire family to move across the ocean, moving vans were spotted outside of his L.A. home last month. At this point, it isn’t clear if Affleck has moved out of his old home or not, although the vans indicate that he might not be living with Garner at all – either in the main house or the guest house of their $45 million compound.
