Gwen Stefani Gets Off Easy In Divorce Settlement Despite No Prenup
The divorce settlement of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale is settled and only missing the signature of the judge, which is merely a formality. But it seems that Gwen Stefani got off easy, as the couple did not have a prenup and Rossdale could have demanded more money than he took in the settlement. Despite the cause of the marital breakdown, the divorce seems to have ended up to be amicable.
According to the Inquisitr, as Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale were trying to work out a divorce settlement, pictures were released of Rossdale and the former nanny at lunch together, and the nanny was visibly pregnant. An affair between Rossdale and the nanny ended the marriage of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale, so this certainly could have derailed negotiations.
TMZ is reporting that Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have wrapped up their marriage with a divorce settlement that seems to work for both of them and their children. Rossdale was legally entitled to half of everything, but he agreed to let Stefani walk away with more than half of the marital property.
Stefani and Rossdale were married for 13 years and had no prenup, so legally, everything could have been 50/50, but most of the money was made by Gwen Stefani from tours and record sales. Rossdale was willing to take less than half and wasn’t willing to press for an equal split.

Stefani and Rossdale have also agreed to share custody of their three boys, with the split likely favoring Gavin Rossdale, as the children will be with him when Stefani tours. Rossdale also did not request child support and likely would have gotten it from Stefani if it had been requested. Gwen Stefani makes a great deal more than her soon-to-be former husband.
It’s unclear if guilt is what drove Rossdale to bow out somewhat gracefully from the negotiations, as it was his actions with the nanny, who resembled Gwen Stefani, that set the Stefani-Rossdale split in motion.
Hollywood Life says that Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have been able to work out a divorce settlement just eight months after announcing their split. Although there have been rumors that Rossdale would drag his feet to prevent Gwen Stefani from officially moving on with love Blake Shelton, this doesn’t seem to be the case. Where Stefani and Shelton now take their relationship will be between the two of them.
Buzz is that the official divorce decree is all that is needed for Blake Shelton to make his relationship with Gwen Stefani official.
“Blake could propose to Gwen very soon. Gwen is everything he wants. Get that ring ready, Blake — it won’t be long before your gal is officially unattached now!”

The Daily Mail reported that despite the cheating and the nanny situation, Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani still plan to work together to raise their three boys as a team. The situation is obviously still painful to Stefani, who was betrayed in the scenario but managed to work out a very adult agreement in the best interest of her children and to move on with her life.
Stefani has a new album out and will be touring this summer in support of that work.
Do you think that Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale reached a fair agreement?
