When it comes to talking about the matters of the heart, Jennifer Lopez has always been very candid. Dating a string of famous men, which includes P. Diddy, Ben Affleck, and Marc Anthony, Lopez’s love life has always been a subject that’s on the table for discussion.
Recently, during an interview for W magazine , Lopez, who was promoting her popular TV show Shades of Blue , spoke about a previous interview she gave the same magazine, where a personal question was asked about her sex life. Instead of skipping over the details, Jennifer rehashed it again, and casually slammed ex-husband Marc Anthony for his skills in the bedroom, or lack thereof.
“Last time I was here, they asked me, ‘Who is better in bed — dancers, musicians or actors? I said, ‘Dancers!’”
Here comes the zinger, “Musicians are too self-absorbed. They are too concerned with themselves to be great in bed.”

Then, Lopez touched on more serious topics, such as the end of her seven-year marriage to singer Marc Anthony. Jennifer opened up to W about the collapse of her marriage, and surprisingly, she knew it wasn’t the right move very early on. When reports of her marriage to Anthony first surfaced, many thought it was a rebound relationship from Ben Affleck, who reportedly left her heartbroken. Lopez never confirmed that it was, but she said that the writing was on the wall with Anthony.
“I hung in there for seven years. I knew very quickly that it wasn’t the right thing. When it comes to work, I never get tired. But with personal failures, I have thought, ‘This is too hard.’”
Although the two have remained amicable, Lopez admits that it wasn’t an easy process to get there.
“When my marriage ended, it was not easy to find forgiveness. It wasn’t the dream that I had hoped for, and it would have been easier to fan the flames of resentment, disappointment, and anger. But Marc is the father of my children, and that’s never going away. So, I have to work to make things right. And that is, by far, the hardest work I do.”

As for her current relationship with backup dancer Casper Smart, who she calls Bear, she didn’t say that there were any wedding bells on the way, but Lopez did admit that she’s very much a relationship girl, and believes in a happy ending in the traditional sense.
“We got together and broke up and are now together again. I still think about getting married and having that long life with someone. I love the movie The Notebook . A dream of mine is to grow old with someone.”
This isn’t the first time she’s spoken about her divorce to Marc Anthony. In an interview with Marie Claire , Lopez said that she relied on her friends to get her through the tough time. “I think I realized they were as important – if not more important – when I divorced Marc. I just realized that I had been through that a couple of times and there they still were. Like they say, men come and go, but my girlfriends are always there for me.”
She also spoke about the divorce in her HBO documentary Jennifer Lopez: Dance Again . At the time, she spoke about not wanting to go out on stage.
“I remember being on the set and being in my dressing room and not feeling like I could get up in the morning and there’s just no pain like that. There’s no pain or failure like going through a divorce. That hope, that dream, that fairytale, with that first time that dream gets blown to pieces, you feel like you’re going to die.”
