JoJo Fletcher’s ‘Bachelorette’ Men Are Not On The Show For ‘The Right Reasons,’ Claims Creator Mike Fleiss
The Bachelorette is currently in production for Season 12, and JoJo Fletcher is already feeling the pressure from her admirers. While fans still have another month to wait until the season premiere, executive producer Mike Fleiss gave a behind-the-scenes look at the action. In his latest offering, Fleiss revealed that not all of the contestants have Fletcher’s best interests in mind.
Over the past few weeks, Fleiss shared some insightful spoilers about Fletcher and her suitors. Most recently, Fleiss posted a Twitter message that suggested some of the contestants are not in it to win over Fletcher’s heart. Instead, Fleiss alluded that they’re only in it for the fame.
“Not sure all the guys are here for the right reason,” Fleiss wrote. “JoJo is very smart. She’ll make decisions… #TheBachelorette.”
According to Us Weekly Magazine, Fleiss’ comments carry a lot weight, especially considering his history with the franchise. Along with creating The Bachelor, Fleiss has witnessed every single Bachelorette attempt to find love. While some of the contestants have used the show to gain fame, others legitimately found love, including Trista Sutter, Ashley Herbert and J.P. Rosenbaum, and Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici.
Fleiss is definitely the right person to tell if the contestants are in it for the fame. After all, he is the only one besides host Chris Harrison with the most experience on the show. Based on his comments, more than one of Fletcher’s suitors is out for attention and not the girl.Of course, the idea that some of the contestants are on the show for fame is not a new one. According to Cartermatt, this type of thing happens in just about every season of the show and helps to add a little extra drama to the mix. After all, these types of contestants are the ones that usually stir up the trouble and are more apt to ramp up the competition, which usually makes things a little more interesting for viewers.
Unfortunately, it isn’t clear which of the contestants are chasing fame and which ones are in it for love. The only thing fans can hope is that Fletcher is able to tell the difference.
Fortunately for JoJo Fletcher, this isn’t the first time she’s had experience on a reality dating show. Fletcher made it to the end of the road last season on The Bachelor. Although she fell to eventual winner Lauren Bushnell, her experiences and lessons learned will easily translate to The Bachelorette.
While the contestant’s motivations are under scrutiny, it is clear that Fletcher is on the show in order to find true love. In fact, not only is Fletcher looking for love, but Hollywood Life is reporting that Fletcher is worried that she won’t find true love on the show and that she’ll be left empty handed once again.“JoJo just told me that her biggest fear is being rejected again and ending up alone. But most of the guys seem to be falling for her,” Fleiss shared.
By the sounds of things, Fletcher is on her way to finding the right man. Out of all the men this season, Fletcher has apparently fallen for Jordan Rodgers, who happens to be the brother of Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers.
“He and JoJo are really hitting it off,” a source told the outlet.
That being said, filming for the new season is still young. There are a lot of stages that Fletcher has yet to go through, which means that Rodgers has a lot of work to do if he wants to last until the final round.
The new season of The Bachelorette is set to air May 23 on ABC.
