Selena Gomez can’t stop posing for cameras, and as she appears in the upcoming issue of GQ, you will see her like you have never seen her before. GQ has posted a video of Selena Gomez’s smoldering shoot in which she is looking hotter than she ever has.

And while Selena Gomez is busy pouting for the cameras, Taylor Swift has just posted a picture of a tray of freshly-baked cookies. Are the two best friends pursuing different life goals, with Selena Gomez focusing on her career in the absence any relationship?

Despite being in the public eye, it looks like Selena Gomez has been able to handle it all pretty well. Just Jared has reported Selena Gomez as saying that she didn’t really have an opportunity to figure out life herself. It can’t be denied that growing up in the public eye does have its consequences.

“I didn’t have an opportunity to figure out my life without people having an opinion every step of the way,” Selena Gomez said.

However, it’s not like Selena Gomez to indulge in self-pity just because she didn’t have a “normal” childhood. Well, obviously, she has become one of the most popular singers of her time.

“I chose this. So I’m not gonna sit here and say, ‘Oh, my God, poor me, I didn’t have a normal childhood.’ I don’t give a f*ck about that.”

It’s true that Selena Gomez is finding it difficult to get away from the rumors related to Justin Bieber, but that’s just one part of her life and she’s said time and again that she is “done” with Bieber and all the rumors that surround the couple. It’s true that Selena Gomez does want to be in a relationship.

Inquisitr has reported that Selena Gomez did talk about her relationship status. When Capital FM asked her if there is a way to get into their girl squad, Selena did not hold back from talking about her relationship status.

“Maybe not for the Squad, but boyfriend material, definitely, is always good!” Selena said. She goes on to say that she is, indeed, the only one who is single. “The reason I made that reference is none of them are single, just so you know! Taylor’s not single, Gigi’s not single, neither is Kendall! I’m the only single one!”

Inquisitr has even reported that Taylor Swift, who is in a relationship with Calvin Harris, is more than supportive of Selena Gomez’s relationship status.

“Taylor is always encouraging Selena,” the insider told Hollywood Life exclusively. “She never brags about her relationship with Calvin. Instead, she reminds Selena about her own heartache and how she overcame her own obstacles and eventually met Calvin. She just tells her to keep believing that her time will come and not to settle. And most importantly, to have an open mind and heart.”

But if the recent Instagram posts are to be believed, it seems like the two friends aren’t really going the same way. Do you think not having a boyfriend in her life might come in the way of their friendship?

Hollywood Life has reported that Selena is jealous of Taylor Swift because she wants to have the kind of relationship that Taylor Swift has with Calvin Harris.

“Selena would give anything to be in a relationship like Taylor and Calvin’s,” an insider told Hollywood Life. “To have this type of commitment and respect for each other would be a dream for Selena. She has been very supportive of Taylor and Calvin’s relationship and was the first to wish them Happy Anniversary. Their relationship gives Selena hope that she will one day have the same thing and that one day she will find her soulmate.”
