Robert Pattinson Ready To Give Kristen Stewart A Second Chance? [Report]
With shadowy celebrity sightings, dozens of unconfirmed reports, and neither of the two parties involved speaking to the media at all, the potential reconciliation between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart might just be a hopeful dream for Twi-hards the world over. Still, the most recent reports say that the two might be on the mend soon, as time puts distance between the star-struck celebrity couple, and Pattinson becomes more forgiving.
Pattinson is apparently working through his heartbreak, heading back to work and numbing the pain by surrounding himself with friends, and one source says that the strategy is working – in Kristen Stewart’s favor. “Rob was super angry for the first couple of weeks. Angry at Kristen for ruining what they had, angry at her for the public embarrassment, angry at Rupert [Sanders],” a source told RadarOnline. “But he’s starting to wind down and really think about what he’s going to do regarding his relationship with Kristen. He goes back and forth…”
The trick is, which friends will Pattinson listen to? They’re giving him conflicting advice, says the same source.
“There’s definitely some friends who think he should just move on from Kristen, but then there are others who still think Rob and Kristen really have a special connection and want him to give her another chance,” the source said. “He has a lot to think about and hasn’t decided either way right now.”
Still, reports that Pattinson and Stewart have started talking – though very little – may indicate that the Twilight heartthrob is softening, notes NY Daily. Until the day he does, Pattinson is poised to absorb himself in work, making a slew of public appearances to promote his new film Cosmopolis. “He’s keen on promoting his new movie, but he really doesn’t want to address his personal life or the cheating scandal because he’s just not ready yet and doesn’t want to say anything he’d regret.”
Fair enough. We in the media will await Pattinson’s official comments on the matter patiently.
