Clint Eastwood Tickled By Son Scott’s Knack For Women And Other Similarities
Clint Eastwood sees a lot of himself in his son Scott Eastwood, an up-and-coming action star making a mark for himself in Hollywood. The older Eastwood, whose unforgettable roles in such movies as For a Few Dollars More and Dirty Harry have entrenched him as a definitive icon of American masculinity, has conveyed delight over his son’s progress, both professionally and with women.
According to USA Today, Clint Eastwood expressed his fatherly views when he received Fandango’s Fan Choice Award at CinemaConin Vegas in April of 2015. He discussed with reporters his huge commercial hit American Sniper, his feud with critic Michael Moore whom he was accused of “threatening to kill,” and his son’s knack for women. Of Scott Eastwood’s love life, the Outlaw Josey Wales star said this.
“I’ve seen him with a couple of the dates he’s had recently, and he’s doing much better than me.”
Known to be the strongest influence in his son’s acting career, Clint Eastwood, 85, reportedly tries to maintain a respectable distance while monitoring his 30-year-old son’s progress. During the Las Vegas event, he announced that he would buy a ticket to see his son make a breakout performance in The Longest Ride. He even promised not to put his son through a postmortem dissection of the show.
“I’ll see if he’s a chip off the old block. I’ll probably try not to say too much one way or the other. He seems to be doing fine without me.”

Clint Eastwood still holds the distinction of being Hollywood’s leading man of the past, and in the natural order of things, his son is expected to follow in his footsteps, just as Sean Flynn succeeded Errol Flynn. And Scott openly admits that what he knows about the business he learned from his father.
To his credit, Scott Eastwood has accumulated an impressive array of accomplishments for his curriculum vitae. He has worked as a model for Cool Water by Davidoff fragrance. He is reportedly putting in his time to eventually become Academy Awards material like his father, Clint Eastwood.
According to Hollywood Life, Scott was born Scott Clinton Reeves Eastwood in Carmel, California, on March 21, 1986 to Clint Eastwood and flight attendant Jacelyn Reeves, during the decline of the Hollywood legend’s relationship with long-time girlfriend Sandra Locke. Using the name Scott Reeves to fend off nepotism comments in his early foray into acting, the younger Eastwood got his debut film role in Flags of Our Fathers directed by his father.
Clint Eastwood’s son leads a busy life as an actor, co-owner of Saddle Bar in Solana Beach, California, and avid surfer. He enjoys the support of one sister, Kathryn, and five other siblings, albeit half brothers and sisters.
