Lamar Odom Tired Of Married Life Already? Harsh Truth About Rocky Marriage With Khloe Kardashian Revealed

Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian seem to be on the road to reconciliation, but now insiders claim the former NBA star still isn’t ready to really settle down. Apparently, Lamar Odom is already tired of living a controlled lifestyle and wants his freedom back.

Initially, it seemed as if Lamar wanted to make drastic changes in his life to avoid the possibility of divorce and another death scare, but as Lamar continues to recover he’s reportedly beginning to drift further away from the sober life he claimed to want, according to an insider.

Hollywood Life has reportedly spoken with an insider close to Lamar Odom who has shared details about his frustrations. It has been reported that Lamar seems to “love” his wild lifestyle and he’s not very interested in the seemingly controlled “straight and narrow” path Khloe wants him on.

“Lamar’s over it! He can’t stand the fact Khloe’s trying to control his life. He’s over all the judgement and scrutiny,” an insider said. “He feels he and Khloe could use some space and time apart. He also wants to live his life freely and do as he chooses without being followed around like a hawk 24-7,” the insider continued.

Since his brush with death back in October of 2015, Khloe Kardashian has been by his side, despite their strained relationship. In January, Lamar Odom was released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center following what doctors considered to be a miraculous recovery.

Now, he’s reportedly being monitored extremely close to ensure he doesn’t relapse. But it seems as if all of the attention has become a bit smothering. Although the rumors have yet to be confirmed, they most likely stem from Lamar’s questionable behavior prior to attending a church service with Khloe on Easter Sunday. The night before, Lamar was spotted ordering drinks at a local bar with friends, despite concerns about the effects of alcohol on his health, according to People magazine.

Lamar Odom’s trip to the bar raised speculation about the possibility of a relapse in the near future. Then, to add fuel to the fire, Khloe Kardashian’s recent heartfelt Facebook post and meme about “letting go” has led many media outlets to believe she may be contemplating walking away from Lamar Odom for good.

“Letting go doesn’t mean that you don’t care about someone anymore. It’s just realizing that the only person you really have control over is yourself,” Khloe wrote.

Although Khloe quickly responded to the reports, claiming the media took her words out of context, her statement still raises speculation about the possibility of her making plans to move forward with the divorce she and Lamar previously decided to delay due to his health scare. Khloe and Lamar have made countless efforts to repair their marriage, but many fans believe the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star may really decide to throw in the towel this time if Lamar spirals out of control again.

However, another insider claims Lamar isn’t worried about her leaving simply because she’s tolerated so much, thus far, according to Hollywood Life. The insider, who is reportedly close to Lamar, explained how he allegedly feels about their relationship and what his plans are going forward. Although he reportedly wants to attend rehab, the insider claims he isn’t interested in going anytime soon.

“Lamar’s back to his old self and his confidence level is through the roof! Khloe’s cryptic and subliminal messages don’t work on him anymore. He’s always been sure of himself and doesn’t believe for a second Khloe will leave him,” another insider said.

“She’s put up with just about all of his antics and Lamar doesn’t have any incentive or reason to stop his bad behavior. Yes, he wants to go rehab at some point but right now, he’s not ready. He’s madly in love with Khloe and wants the marriage to work but he’s not about to be controlled by her, or anyone else for that matter. All he’s asking is for his wife to open up a bit and chill.”
