‘Game Of Thrones’ Spoilers: New Clips & Trailer Reveal What To Expect In Season 6
Game of Thrones Season 6 is right around the corner, and with a new trailer and three new clips just released, fans couldn’t be more excited about the premiere later this month.
According to Winter Is Coming, not only did HBO release a new Game of Thrones Season 6 trailer, but three new clips, said to be for talk show use, have been released as well. After watching them all, it’s pretty clear what everyone is going to be up to during the premiere episode.
In the newly released Game of Thrones trailer, it is obvious that Jon Snow is dead, but will he stay that way? Images are seen of Davos, the former right-hand man to Stannis Baratheon, guarding Jon’s body as the men of the Night’s Watch, the same men who killed him, want to take it away. Since fans already know the first episode is called “The Red Lady,” many are hoping that Melisandre will have some way to resurrect Jon Snow during the season.
Meanwhile, Game of Thrones fan-favorite character Tyrion Lannister is left in the city of Meereen with Varys, Grey Worm, and Missandei. The group is expected to keep the peace in the absence of Daenerys.
Daenerys is also seen in a new clip heading into a new city with the Dothraki army that found her in the Season 5 finale. It seems that the Khaleesi will meet yet another Khal, but will he like her as much as the last one, her former husband Khal Drogo?
Sansa and Theon are seen fleeing Winterfell and the clutches of the repulsive Ramsay Bolton in the new trailer, and in a newly released clip, the two are running through the woods trying to escape the hounds that have been released. Will they make it out of Winterfell alive? Game of Thrones spoilers reveal that they will with the help of Brienne and Podrick. Some rumors even suggest that by the end of Season 6, Sansa is back in Winterfell with a very much alive Jon Snow at her side.
In the third and final clip, Cersei has just found out that her daughter Myrcella is dead, and Jamie has come to comfort her. The Queen Mother tells her brother/lover that she doesn’t know if she can bear the thought of knowing her little girl is wasting away in a tomb like her mother.
It seems that Game of Thrones fans will see a whole new fire inside of Cersei during Season 6. She’s already lost two children, with her youngest son, Tommen, sitting on the iron throne. She’s also been publicly shamed for her sins by the High Sparrow, and the people of King’s Landing have made no secret of their hatred for her. Will Cersei finally snap and get revenge on all those who have wronged her and her family? Fans are certainly hoping so!
In the trailer, viewers also get a look at Daenerys’ dragons, who have continued to grow over the seasons. It looks like Tyrion may be considering freeing the two dragons that Daenerys put in captivity after they began killing villagers, but what will he do with them? Will Tyrion come up with a plan to save Meereen or possibly Khaleesi? If anyone can do it, it would be the show’s smartest character, and fans can’t wait to see how it all plays out.
Game of Thrones Season 6 is said to be the biggest and best season yet, and it appears to start off with a bang. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, viewers who have already seen the premiere say the final scene is a real shocker!
