‘Teen Mom 2’ Kailyn Lowry Speaks Of Husband Javi Marroquin Amid Divorce Rumors, Steps Out Without Wedding Ring
Kailyn Lowry and Javi Marroquin appear to have seen better days. Following a reported Twitter dispute earlier this month, the Teen Mom 2 star hit the red carpet during the 2016 MTV Movie Awards in Burbank, California, with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera and without her wedding ring.
On the red carpet, as she posed for photos with Rivera, the father of her 6-year-old son, Isaac, Kailyn Lowry answered questions about her future and about her marriage to Marroquin.
“I have a new book and we have a new season of Teen Mom — maybe! And that’s about it,” Kailyn Lowry told In Touch Weekly on April 10 when asked about what’s next.

Although Kailyn Lowry, whose appearance was her first post-surgery red carpet outing (she underwent a tummy tuck, neck liposuction, and a Brazilian butt lift in January), didn’t offer up any information regarding her relationship with Marroquin initially, the magazine pressed on, wanting to know how her relationship has been.
“[My relationship] is good. The baby [Lincoln, 2] is good, and Isaac is in school. Everyone is so big and growing,” Kailyn Lowry explained, adding that Marroquin has struggled with her closeness to Rivera and Torres.
“It’s hard. He’s adjusting to it, and will be alright… He’s been working on it,” Kailyn Lowry said.

During recent episodes of Teen Mom 2, fans have watched as Marroquin revealed to Kailyn Lowry that he would soon be deployed, and now, as the season continues, the couple will be seen discussing Kailyn Lowry’s 2015 miscarriage.
“MTV and the producers were very sensitive to the situation and just understood that I wasn’t necessarily ready to talk about it as soon as it happened,” Kailyn Lowry, 24, explained to People Magazine of the loss of what would have been her third child. “They kind of just gave me my time to grieve, and when I was ready and felt like I was comfortable talking about it, I did.”
Kailyn Lowry also opened up about her husband’s deployment and told the magazine that it “takes an emotional toll on him and us as a family.”
“It gets tough,” Kailyn Lowry said. “I think that you’ll see some parts of it being hard, and it’s emotional, and there are some happy parts, like [we’re] trying to stay positive through everything.”
While Kailyn Lowry has hinted at trouble in paradise with her husband, Marroquin, she has yet to directly address rumors of an impending divorce, which have been swirling for weeks after Marroquin shockingly sent what was believed to have been a racy photo to another woman.
On April 4, Radar Online revealed details of a conversation between Kailyn Lowry and Marroquin, which resulted in the pair unfollowing one another on Twitter. According to the site, Kailyn Lowry called Marroquin’s behavior “borderline inappropriate” after a fan wanted to know how Kailyn Lowry felt about her husband sending a photo, possibly of him in his underwear, to someone else.
Marroquin later replied to another fan’s comment, which read, “Jealousy switching to the other foot now. She loves ya and misses ya!” with the cryptic message, “Haha too late.”
