Taylor Swift Banks Biggest Star Salary, Heats Up Calvin Harris Hookup & Urges Selena Gomez To Dump Justin Bieber

Taylor Swift is only 26, but when the annual “What People Earn” list of celebrities came out, it was Taylor who topped them all, even Jay Z and Leonardo DiCaprio. Swift took home $80 million in the past year, reported Us Weekly.

The Midas touch comes from hard work, however. The singer sold out on her world tour and achieved a wide range of business partnerships, including Coca-Cola and Apple. And Swift isn’t done with those deals, because fans can look for her mobile game to roll out later in 2016.

It’s not only her bank account that shows how successful Taylor has become. She also won three Grammy Awards (Best Music Video, Best Pop Vocal Album and Album of the Year).

As for how Taylor compares with her peers, Lady Gaga took home an estimated $59 million, while Jay Z earned $56 million. At 41, DiCaprio earned $29 million while finally receiving his first Oscar for Best Actor in a Leading Role in The Revenant.

Swift also is scoring personally when it comes to her romance with Calvin Harris. Taylor and Calvin paraded their PDA on a date night, according to E! News.

Harris, who is a 32-year-old Scottish DJ, took his girlfriend to a restaurant that the two favor in Santa Monica, California, Giorgio Baldi. Holding hands and staying close, the lovebirds enjoyed their date night.

The evening together occurred after the couple displayed PDA during the 2016 iHeartRadio Music Awards. When Swift won Best Tour, she made a point of sending a sweet shout-out to Calvin, whose real first name is Adam.

“For the first time I had the most amazing person to come home to when the spotlight went out and the crowds were all gone. So I want to thank my boyfriend Adam for that,”she emphasized.

In addition to the Best Tour award, Taylor took home awards for Female Artist of the Year, Album of the Year for 1989, Most Meme-able Moment for her “Blank Space” video and Most Thumbed Up Artist. And she was just as thrilled when Harris earned his own trophy for Dance Artist of the Year.

To date, Calvin ranks as the longest relationship that Swift has enjoyed. They started dating in March of last year. And when their one-year anniversary came this year, Harris remembered and gave his girlfriend a personalized gold locket.

During a dinner date with her pals Lily Aldridge, 30, and Behati Prinsloo, 26, Taylor dished about her joy in sustaining her romance with Calvin.

“[Swift gushed about how] happy she is in her relationship and really in love with Adam,” a source revealed to E! News.

But there’s one relationship that is making Taylor unhappy, and that’s what has been happening between her best friend Selena Gomez and Selena’s off-again, on-again boyfriend Justin Bieber, pointed out Entertainment Tonight.

Swift was observed clapping her hands a few times slowly together after the Bieb’s iHeartRadio Music Awards performance before looking in the opposite direction. Selena herself appeared only after his performance.

However, Gomez and her sometime-boyfriend have been hinting that their romance still could be rekindled. Selena even went to his concert recently in Los Angeles, while he shared a throwback photo showing the two kissing passionately.

However, at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Bieber shocked everyone when he was observed ignoring Gomez backstage. Then came the even more shocking reason that seemed like a betrayal to Selena fans: Justin took Hailey Baldwin, his former girlfriend, to the event, as the Inquisitr reported.

Swift is angry on behalf of Selena, as well as concerned about the signs that Gomez might be tempted to reconcile with the Biebs. So, as a non-Belieber, Swift is urging Selena to dump him, according to Hollywood Life‘s insider.

“Taylor has been pretty quiet about voicing her opinion on Justin, but she’s now speaking up about him again to Selena,” revealed the insider.

And Swift is adamant that Gomez make it a permanent split this time around.

“After what he pulled at the iHeartRadio Awards, Taylor really wants her to cut ties… once and for all. None of this back and forth stuff,” added the insider. “Once [Selena] makes a commitment to shut the door on him completely, she will meet the true man of her dreams.”

As for whether it’s possible that Gomez has already met that man? Selena has been linked recently to both Charlie Puth and Samuel Krost, noted the Inquisitr. But there’s no sign as yet that Gomez will go from having flirty fun to a forever romance.
