‘RHOC’ Stars Vicki Gunvalson And Tamra Judge Share New Details About Life-Threatening ATV Accident
Vicki Gunvalson and Tamra Judge made it out alive after their recent ATV accident, although Gunvalson’s injuries might be more troubling than originally thought. Despite being hospitalized and released the next morning, the Real Housewives of Orange County star is still dealing with some side effects from the accident.
According to E! Online, Gunvalson might have to make a trip to the hospital if her symptoms do not get better in the coming days. In particular, the reality star is dealing with significant head trauma that has led to a long bout of nausea. It isn’t clear if her symptoms are a result of medication or her injuries, which coincide with what some people experience after a concussion.
“Vicki has head and neck trauma. She was released last night at 2 a.m., but she’s still dizzy and throwing up,” an inside source told the outlet. “She does not feel good. If Vicki doesn’t start to feel better soon, she’ll be brought back to the hospital.”
For those unaware, Judge and Gunvalson went on a four-wheeling trip over the weekend and were joined by a few of their friends. Unfortunately, things turned dark after their four-wheeler wrecked, throwing the ladies off and flipping multiple times.
After news of the awful accident surfaced, Bravo released an official statement that cleared up some of the details of the accident. Along with providing the welcome news that Gunvalson and Judge were safe, the network revealed that they would continue to monitor the situation.
“There was an off-roading accident that occurred on Saturday morning during production of the Real Housewives of Orange County,” the statement read. “Vicki and Tamra were taken to the hospital after the accident occurred. They were both released and are continuing to be monitored. Everyone at Bravo, along with their fans, send them our love and support.”
That being said, TMZ is reporting that the situation is more troubling than first thought. In fact, the accident was so bad that Gunvalson had to be airlifted out of the area and flown to a nearby hospital. While Gunvalson and her friends waited for the chopper, an eyewitness told the outlet that the reality star was vomiting and that she complained of a loss in feeling in her fingers.
Judge was driving the ATV when the accident occurred. Although it isn’t clear what caused the vehicle to flip, sources have revealed that Judge has been advised to slow her speed just prior to the wreck. Filming crews were present during the accident, so fans can expect more information to come out when the new season of The Real Housewives of Orange County returns to television.
Following the accident, many fans expressed their sadness at the news and hoped that Gunvalson and Judge would recover from their injuries. In response to the get-well wishes, Gunvalson took to Facebook and thanked her friends and fans for their continued support.
“Thank you everyone for your prayers. #itwasntourtime @tamrajudge, @heatherdubrow,” Gunvalson wrote in the post.
Meanwhile, Us Magazine is reporting that the accident occurred in Glamis, California, this past Saturday. Although he hasn’t officially commented on the wreck and health scare, the fact that Gunvalson made it out alive should be exciting news for her current boyfriend, Jack Losey.
As fans will recall, Gunvalson has moved on following her split with Brooks Ayers and started to hang out with Losey more and more over the past few months. The two have yet to make their relationship official, although their activity together is a clear indication that something is going on behind the scenes.
An official release date for the new season of The Real Housewives of Orange County has not been announced.
