NFL Rumors: Buffalo Bills Trading Tyrod Taylor To Denver Broncos

NFL rumors are swirling around Tyrod Taylor. After having a sensational season, the 26-year-old quarterback wants to be paid. Taylor wants to capitalize during a time when quality quarterbacks are rare in the National Football League. The Buffalo Bills enjoy having him around and feel that he can be a part of their future. Unfortunately, they cannot afford to pay Taylor right now. He may need to go elsewhere to get his money. According to Fox Sports, the Denver Broncos are trying to acquire Tyrod.

Due to some departures, the Denver Broncos are in a mess when it comes to the quarterback position. Brock Osweiler surprisingly walked away in free agency and joined the Houston Texans to become their new starter. He didn’t feel that he received enough support from the Broncos. Not wanting to go through another bad season, Peyton Manning opted to walk away from the NFL after winning the Super Bowl for a second time.

The quarterback cupboard is a bit bare for the Denver Broncos right now. Broncos general manager John Elway pulled off a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles to acquire Mark Sanchez. That doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence with the fan base because many view the former USC Trojans star as more of a backup than a starter at this point in his NFL career. Trevor Siemian has thrown one pass in the National Football League, and he actually has a negative passing yardage because of a bad play.

It has actually gotten to the point where the Denver Broncos are looking into quarterbacks who might not be good enough to play in the NFL. Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak reportedly met with Johnny Manziel to see if he would be a possible solution at quarterback for Denver. Since the former Texas A&M Aggies star has yet to show that the NFL is a priority for him, it comes as a surprise that Kubiak hasn’t kicked the tires of a potential Tim Tebow return yet.

To make sure that they check every single place possible, the Denver Broncos have now contacted the Buffalo Bills to see if they would be interested in trading away Tyrod Taylor, their starting quarterback. The Bills are stuck in a salary cap tight spot right now, as they have very little wiggle room to do anything. As of right now, they still need to clear out some cap space in order to sign their upcoming haul in the NFL Draft.

One thing that really bodes well for the Denver Broncos is the fact that Tyrod Taylor and Gary Kubiak have some history together. Taylor was on the Baltimore Ravens roster when Kubiak was the offensive coordinator under head coach John Harbaugh. That relationship might help convince Taylor to insist that the Buffalo Bills send him to Colorado.

Since he wants security from a big contract, Tyrod Taylor is trying to force his way out of the Buffalo Bills. His agent, Adisa Bakari, has a reputation for being ruthless. Bakari ripped Bills head coach Rex Ryan through the media. He’s attempting to upset the franchise enough so they will get rid of Taylor before he becomes a distraction to the rest of the team. Mario Williams disrupted team chemistry a bit last season because he was not happy with the defensive scheme.

Sometimes, there are trades in the NFL that make sense for all parties involved. Tyrod Taylor wants to be paid. The Buffalo Bills cannot afford to pay their quarterback and could possibly receive assets in return. The Denver Broncos desperately need a quarterback. A deal could help everyone.
