Justin Bieber Tries To Rekindle Selena Gomez Romance: Hailey Baldwin & Charlie Puth Turn Hope Into Heartbreak?

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have endured one of the longest and most volatile romances in the world of young celebrities. Every time that their fans thought it was over, something happened to make them Beliebers in Jelena. And when Justin posted a throwback photo showing himself in a passionate kiss with Selena that she termed “Perfect,” followed by the sighting of Gomez at his concert, he seemed to have rekindled their romance yet again.

Now, however, something’s gone wrong. The first hint came when Bieber cancelled his plans to stage a romantic date night with Selena after she attended his concert, a source told E! News.

“Justin wanted to rent out the Staples Center after his concert to do a repeat date night screening of Titanic for Selena because he is trying to get back with her,” revealed the insider.

But that extravagant event never materialized, and the source isn’t even sure if he revealed his plans to Gomez.

“I also don’t know if he ever even told Selena about his plan, but I do know he is really obviously trying to date her again. He wanted to do something big and extravagant for her like this and had been making arrangements for the movie date before his concert even started.”

That event wasn’t the only indication that something was off, once again, in the world of Jelena. The insider speculated that the two fought, but then Bieber left the event early with Selena in tow. An eyewitness, however, told E! News that the couple looked content to be reunited.

“[Selena and Justin] looked genuinely comfortable together,” commented the observer. “They both looked really happy.”

However, the hints of a rekindled romance gone wrong continued to occur. At the iHeartRadio Music Awards, Bieber shocked everyone when he was observed ignoring Gomez backstage. Then came the even more shocking reason that seemed like a betrayal to Selena fans: Justin took Hailey Baldwin, his former girlfriend, to the event, according to Hollywood Life.

“He’s decided to give things another go with [Hailey], and hid her backstage away from prying eyes because he didn’t want Selena to know,” an insider told Hollywood Life.

After learning about Baldwin, Gomez’s best friend Taylor Swift has decided it’s time to provide Selena with some advice. Although Taylor had taken a stance against Bieber before, this time Swift has had enough.

“She’s now speaking up about him again to Selena,” revealed the insider. “After what he pulled at the iHeartRadio Awards, Taylor really wants her to cut ties.”

With the knowledge that her former boyfriend was seen again with Hailey Baldwin, plus the pressure of her best friend urging her to drop Bieber, Gomez seems at risk of being hurt again by Justin. But is Selena the only one going through the heartache of breaking up after hoping for a reunion?

Rumors recently swirled that Gomez had turned the situation around by secretly hooking up with Charlie Puth, sources told Us Weekly.

“She’s super into him,” confirmed one insider, while another described it as a “flirty friendship.”

However, Charlie is trying to avoid reports that it’s serious.

“I’m happy that we’re friends,” he stated.

Meanwhile, the Biebs still seems to believe in the possibility of trying to rekindle his romance with Selena yet again.

“[He] wants her back,” revealed a Bieber insider. “He’d love to be with her, but she won’t go for it.”

As for Gomez and Puth, Charlie discounted the reports of a hot hookup in a new interview, noted Ace Showbiz.

“We’re friends. I’m not dating Selena Gomez,” emphasized Charlie. “There is nothing to say.”
