Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Battle Over Move To Paris To Escape Spotlight Amid Divorce & Custody War Rumors?
Kanye West and Kim Kardashian can’t seem to escape the media spotlight in paparazzi-crowded southern California. And now, the focus on the family has gotten so intense that Kanye wants to uproot his children and move to Paris. West faces an obstacle, however, and that’s Kardashian herself, who is horrified at the idea of leaving her beloved southern California comforts, reported the Mirror.
While Kanye allegedly is trying to persuade Kim to head off to Paris with their daughter North West and baby boy Saint, Kardashian is battling the proposal. West feels that living in Paris for the majority of time would solve his frustration with the media frenzy, and he allegedly isn’t fond of Los Angeles itself.
Kardashian views that mansion as a valuable investment, and views living in the remodeled home with their children as the opportunity to bring them closer together as a family. Consequently, the plan that West has concocted to move for at least half the year made his wife infuriated, according to an insider cited by the Mirror.
“Kim was furious when Kanye told her that he wants to spend half the year in France. She completely flipped out and told him: ‘You’re not taking the kids to Paris!’ “
In addition to worrying about having West take the kids, Kardashian is fearful about what will happen to her own life in France. After being raised in California, Kim wants North and Saint to experience similar childhoods, and she’s worried that she will experience a “lonely and isolated” existence herself so far from home.
But Kanye allegedly is battling Kardashian, believing that the drastic move will provide their children with a healthier environment.
Saint is only a baby now, but West reportedly already sees the impact of the paparazzi on North, and contends that the media attention is having an adverse effect on the way she behaves. Consequently, the insider alleges that Kardashian and Kanye have already had at least one serious fight over moving, and that battle was why they missed attending the Easter service with the other Keeping Up With The Kardashians family members.
However, is there a chance that Kim is giving into West? Kardashian just posted her five favorite spots to work out on her website, and Paris is among them, noted Us Weekly.
“It’s such a chic gym in the middle of the city, with great equipment, classes and [amenities],” explained Kardashian.
While that sounds as if Kim isn’t totally against the move, a new report just came out that puts a different spin on the idea of Kanye plotting to take the children to Paris. Hollywood Life cites a source alleging that West is ready to call it quits on his marriage to Kardashian.
“Kanye has had enough, and he is going to dump her on their second anniversary in May,” claims the source. “Kim has been humiliated many times in the past, but nothing will top this.”
In addition, the move to Paris allegedly fits into the divorce plan, claims this source, who alleges that Kardashian will be left behind when West heads off with the two kids.
“Kanye not only wants to end the marriage.. he plans on going for custody of their two children. He wants to take them to Paris, where he has a home, for half the year.”
However, Gossip Cop denies these reports of marriage problems, noting that the newest round of divorce rumors seems to have originated from the print edition of In Touch, which contains headlines such as “Kim Kardashian braces for divorce No. 3 as Kanye West says he’s done.”
The tabloid also claims that West has talked with lawyers about filing for divorce, with an anonymous source saying that it’s over.
“Kim will be mortified. It will be the ultimate humiliation for her.”
But in contrast to the tabloid’s reports, Gossip Cop cites Kardashian’s rep, who stated that there is no truth to the allegations that Kim and Kanye are divorcing.
