‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 6 Spoilers: Ramsay’s Reaction To Sansa’s Escape
Game of Thrones Season 6 has so much to look forward to that fans may have easily forgotten about Ramsay Bolton and what lies ahead for one of the most vulgar characters on the series.
Entertainment Weekly reports that when Game of Thrones fans last saw Ramsay Bolton, he had been keeping his wife, Sansa Stark, prisoner at Winterfell and basically torturing her as well as Theon, whom he calls Reek. However, the two finally took a stand in the season finale, and Season 6 should be a wild ride for both of them.
What will happen when Ramsay finds out that both his wife, Sansa, and servant Theon/Reek have fled Winterfell and his wrath? Season 6 will pick up as the two are on the run and Ramsay Bolton’s men are after them. Actor Iwan Rheon, who plays the devilish Ramsay, reveals how the character will react to the great escape.
“He’s sheepish. His father is obviously not pleased. Without Sansa, he doesn’t have a much power as having a Stark and an heir. Without her, he is not what he was. He’s still sort of a bastard, really, even though he’s been legitimized by another bastard – as Sansa rightly pointed out. And we start by finding out how Ramsay really felt about Myranda…”
However, if Game of Thrones fans were hoping to see any positive change or good will from Ramsay Bolton in Season 6, they can guess again.
“He’s a complete scumbag. But I find that quite fun. He’s a fun character to play. Obviously some scenes are disgusting and I dreaded doing them. But in this kind of environment [on the set] it doesn’t feel like you’re actually doing it, you’re playing it, so it doesn’t ever become too much. What’s difficult is, as an actor, you still need to understand him in order to make it truthful and to empathize with him,” Iwan stated.
Meanwhile, Game of Thrones Season 6 is set to be the biggest, most dramatic, and best season of the series yet. Fans are truly excited to learn the fate of their favorite characters and are extremely interested in Jon Snow, who was seemingly killed by the Night’s Watch in the Season 5 finale. Is Jon Snow dead or alive? Actor Kit Harington has been very adamant about fans knowing Jon is dead even though many don’t believe he’ll stay that way.
The website Winter Is Coming has even revealed that by the end of Season 6 of Game of Thrones, Jon Snow will be back in Winterfell with Sansa Stark, meaning that Ramsay and the rest of the Bolton’s likely aren’t there anymore. It seems Season 6 is shaping up to be a very intriguing one for fans of House Bolton.
Meanwhile, Game of Thrones viewers have a lot to look forward to with the Season 6 premiere right around the corner. HBO announced earlier this week that an official GoT aftershow would be airing on Mondays, the day following the all new episode. The show will be a recap show that follows the characters and storylines of the season. This will surely help viewers navigate through any confusing storylines or character plots, as there are so many in the fantasy/drama series.
With so much going on in the world of Westeros, it’s hard to keep track of each character. Thankfully, Game of Thrones’ recent Entertainment Weekly issue revealed where each and every character is and what they’re doing there. Pick up the collector’s issue for more great details on Season 6!
