Ben Affleck & Jennifer Garner Moving To London Together Amid Divorce
Though they’re preparing for a divorce, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are still putting on a united front for their three children and are reportedly planning to move to another country together.
According to a new report by the Sun, Garner and her three children with Ben, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, will follow Affleck to the U.K. and live in London for several months as Ben films the movie Justice League: Part One at Warner Brothers Studios Leavesden Studios in Hertfordshire later this year.
“Ben wants his family close when he’s working, and staying together in a new country will be a great experience, despite himself and Jennifer being no longer a couple,” a source told the newspaper this week, noting that “Ben and Jennifer are a very strong cohesive unit” despite their split.
“They have created a new normal, which will continue while they are living in London,” the Sun‘s source added, revealing that Ben and Jennifer are planning on moving into a home together somewhere in North London.
While Ben and Jennifer are yet to publicly comment on reports that they’re planning to temporarily move to London to keep their family together, Affleck recently spoke out about his split from Garner during an appearance on CBS This Morning where he confirmed that the former couple are doing all they can to co-parent their three children.“Life doesn’t always turn out exactly the way you want. We’re doing our very best and we’re putting our kids first,” Affleck revealed on the morning show on March 25, “That’s how we’re focusing on our day-to-day lives.”
“We don’t know what the future’s going to hold. Each step that we take is one where we prioritize our children and everything else comes second,” Ben continued of his current relationship with Jennifer, who he told the show was setting “such a good example” for their children. “That’s a lead that I follow,” Affleck said last month.
Ben Affleck also revealed on the show that he’s a “giant fan” of Jennifer Garner’s, before praising her for being “a “fabulous” and “wonderful” person. “She’s a great mother. She’s a real talent,” Ben continued of Jennifer at the time.
Affleck and Garner announced their surprising split back in June, just one day after the two celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary.
Jennifer got candid about their split in a bombshell interview about her separation from Affleck with Vanity Fair last month, where Garner publicly denied for the first time that there was any truth to rumors that the two decided to end their marriage after Ben Affleck was caught getting too close to the family’s nanny.
“We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny. She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce, she was not a part of the equation” Jennifer said in the magazine’s March issue, describing the nanny scandal as being “bad judgment.”
Garner also got seriously candid about Ben Affleck in the candid interview, where she described her estranged husband as being a “complicated guy.”
“I didn’t marry the big fat movie star; I married him and I would go back and remake that decision,” Garner clarified following her split from Affleck. “He’s the most brilliant person in any room, the most charismatic, the most generous. He’s just a complicated guy,” she continues, “I always say, ‘When his sun shines on you, you feel it,’ but when the sun is shining elsewhere, it’s cold. He can cast quite a shadow.”
