‘The Walking Dead’ Spoilers: AMC Issues More DMCA Take-Down Notices To Stop Spoilers — Here’s What We Know About Season 6 Finale So Far

The Walking Dead Season 6 finale airs on Sunday evening, and AMC is doing their best to make sure no more spoilers are leaked before the big show. Popular spoiler sites like The Spoiling Dead Fans have been great about sharing details of the episodes ahead of time. Despite the enormous popularity of TWD spoilers, they are something the network has actively worked to prevent, even more so in anticipation of the shocking Season 6 finale, titled “Last Day On Earth.”

AMC has done it before. The network sent DMCA take-down notices to many fan-run spoiler sites, threatening legal action if they continued to post details of the upcoming episodes before they aired. The Spoiling Dead Fans pointed out that they have only ever received DMCA take-down notices from AMC in instances when their spoilers are correct. Then again, the TSDF spoilers have a reputation for being spot on, the reason many writers follow them and use them.

It was only after an 11-minute audio of Negan’s introduction that the DMCA take-down notices were sent out again. The introduction of Negan has been more than a year in the making, and many actors on The Walking Dead have said the Season 6 finale is possibly the best episode in the history of the AMC series. It’s understandable that the network would like to keep as much of the episode a surprise as they possibly can.

On the other hand, fans of TWD are clamoring to get their hands on any bits of information that they can, and many really enjoy learning the spoilers prior to the show airing. Some fans have even said that they need the spoilers to prepare themselves mentally for the possible tragedies that are heading their way.

So, considering the AMC crackdown on spoilers, we have still been able to compile some information about the upcoming Season 6 finale of The Walking Dead. Here is what we know so far.

The Walking Dead Season 6 finale will be 90-minutes long. Negan, who has been highly anticipated for all of Season 6, will arrive in the last 10 minutes of the episode. His introduction will follow that of the comics almost identically. Some of his dialogue has been changed to keep the identity of his victim a secret. According to multiple reports, TWD fans will finish the episode still not knowing exactly who Negan killed, leaving them with a painful cliffhanger until the AMC hit returns in October.

What spoiler chasing fans seem to have forgotten is that there is still another 80 minutes of the TWD episode that we know very little about. It’s clear that there is something wrong with Maggie, and that is the whole reason for the group’s trip to the Hilltop. They are heading up to see the doctor and hopefully get Maggie another ultrasound, because she’s been writhing in pain. Some believe she might be losing her baby, while others are convinced she ate bad pickles, given to her by Enid during the last episode. Either way, it is because of her pain that they are out when Negan finds them.

Earlier in the episode, we get to see Morgan searching for Carol. It’s pretty much where that storyline left off when Rick and Morgan separated, with Rick heading back to Alexandria and Morgan happy to be chasing after Carol by himself. From the look of it, Morgan is going to find Carol in a standoff with a Savior, and just before the guy shoots Carol, Morgan is going to come to her defense and kill the man.

Due to the DMCA takedown notice imposed by AMC, that’s really all we know about the Season 6 finale of The Walking Dead. AMC has done a pretty good job of keeping the episode a secret, and if the actors are correct, it may be one of the best season finales in the history of TV. Some are wondering if Negan’s arrival means TWD is nearing the end of its run. We’re pretty sure his arrival means they are really just getting started.

The Walking Dead Season 6 finale, “Last Day On Earth,” airs Sunday, April 3, from 9-10:30 p.m.
