Caila Quinn Dating In NYC: Giving Up ‘Bachelor In Paradise’ Gig For New Guy?
Four months ago, cameras were rolling when Bachelor Ben Higgins broke Caila Quinn’s heart in Jamaica. After losing out to love with Ben and getting passed over for the Bachelorette gig, things are looking up for the 24-year-old Ohio native — she has a new home, new job, and is back on the dating scene.
Who’s the new guy in her life, and will fans still see her on the upcoming season of Bachelor in Paradise? Here’s the latest scoop on Caila Quinn and a look at some of the other Bachelor alum who are rumored to be heading to Paradise this summer.
Last month, Caila lost out on the Bachelorette gig to JoJo Fletcher, so she packed up her belongings and moved from Boston to New York City for a new job. Fans who follow her on Snapchat were able to watch with excitement when she moved into her new digs in the Big Apple, and now that she’s settled in, she clued her fans into her next big move — dating.
On Saturday, Caila shared a photo of her date-night outfit on Snapchat, but she didn’t spill any details about who the lucky guy is or how she met him. What she did share is that she’d much prefer to go casual and wear overalls instead of a dress. Caila definitely won’t have a problem finding love in New York City. Whether she falls in love with her Saturday night date or simply continues to find the guy of her dreams off camera, is it possible that she’s no longer interested in finding her future husband on a reality TV show? After all, it had to be disappointing to lose out on the Bachelorette to JoJo Fletcher, especially when Us Weekly confirmed that Caila got the gig just days before JoJo was introduced as ABC’s next leading lady on the Bachelor: After the Final Rose special.
According to Buddy TV, Bachelor host Chris Harrison has revealed that “10 or 15 girls” from Ben’s season could potentially join the third season of Bachelor in Paradise.
During the Women Tell All special last month, Chris confirmed that Lace Morris would be joining the show, and followed up by revealing his Paradise dream cast list during a post-Bachelor finale conference call with reporters.
Topping Harrison’s list are twins Haley Ferguson and Emily Ferguson, single mom Amanda Stanton, TV anchor Olivia Caridi, and Jubilee Sharp, who recently became a sergeant in the U.S. Army.
Although Lace Morris stated on the Women Tell All that she would be heading to Paradise this summer, it’s not clear if she’s signed a contract yet. One look at her Snapchat will convince fans that she doesn’t need a few weeks in Paradise to find a date — it appears that she’s doing just fine on her own.
Even if Caila and Lace don’t join the cast of Bachelor in Paradise, the upcoming season still has the potential to have an interesting cast of both new and familiar faces from the Bachelor franchise.Other names in the rumor mill include Leah Block and Lauren Himle from Ben’s season, several yet-to-be-named guys from JoJo Fletcher’s season of the Bachelorette, and a few cast members from Paradise Season 2 — Carly Waddell, Ashley Iaconetti, Jared Haibon, JJ Lane, and Joe Bailey.
JoJo Fletcher will make her debut as the Bachelorette on May 23, and Bachelor in Paradise Season 3 is expected to premiere in August. Would you like to see Caila Quinn join the cast, or do you have other contestants in mind?
