Scott Disick Weighs-In On Rob Kardashian And Blac Chyna Romance: ‘I’m Just Happy That He’s Happy’

Scott Disick may not be in close contact with Rob Kardashian following his split from Kardashian’s sister, Kourtney Kardashian, last year, but that doesn’t mean Scott is any less happy for the reality star amid Rob’s ongoing relationship with model Blac Chyna.

After spending nearly two years out of the spotlight in an effort to combat his issues with weight gain and depression, Rob Kardashian has been photographed out in public more frequently alongside girlfriend Blac Chyna, who sources credit with helping the reality star to shed a reported 40 pounds since announcing their relationship in January.

Weighing-in with his thoughts on Rob Kardashian’s newfound happiness with Blac Chyna, Scott Disick recently revealed to People that he feels “literally nothing but happiness” for Rob amid his reemergence into the public eye.

“I’m just so grateful and happy about it,” Scott explained of the recent photos of Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna spending time together. “There’s literally nothing but happiness.”

While Disick admits that he doesn’t “know anything more” about the couple’s relationship, Scott explains that he’s “just happy that [Rob’s] happy” after seeing the former Keeping Up With the Kardashians star back in public after becoming a recluse from the spotlight.

Disick’s comments on Rob and Blac Chyna’s relationship come just days after he revealed to Australian radio show, Kyle & Jackie O, that he feels Rob struggled with the Kardashian-Jenner clan’s sudden fame and popularity following the debut of the family’s reality series in 2007.

“Listen, things are difficult sometimes, especially when you become in the spotlight very quick—overnight—and your whole life changes very quickly,” Scott explained of Rob’s rise to fame. “He was just getting out of college, and then he became famous quickly—I think it was a lot for him to handle.”

Disick further alleged that Rob Kardashian’s abrupt decision to remove himself from the family’s reality series was arguably a result of his reluctance to be thrust into the spotlight.

“I don’t think that’s exactly the path he wanted to be on,” Scott explained of Rob’s apprehension to KUWTK. “And he just got caught in the middle of it. So he had to take some time off.”

While Kardashian’s family may not have been too happy about Rob’s romance with Blac Chyna following confirmation of their relationship status earlier this year, Scott admits that Rob has been “doing great” and is “very happy” since getting back into a healthier lifestyle.

“He’s doing great, he’s doing actually unbelievable. And he’s very happy. He’s one of the greatest guys I know, and a good heart, and just an amazing guy all around,” Scott revealed.

In addition to gushing over Rob’s newfound happiness, Scott also opened up about how he’s dealing with the backlash surrounding his partying behavior after being photographed drinking just weeks after prematurely leaving a rehabilitation facility back in October.

“The truth is I never lied and said that I was never going to have a beer again,” Scott explained of the criticism surrounding his decision to continue drinking despite seeking help for alcohol addiction last year. “I never said I was never going to have a cigarette again. I never lied and said I was never going to go to the beach again. I never lied and said I was not going to be around my friends and their girlfriends and girls and friends.”

While Disick didn’t comment on the rumors suggesting that Kourtney Kardashian was not happy with his decision to continue drinking and making various nightclub appearances across the country, Scott admitted that “things are good” in his life and noted that he’s been “just relaxing and hanging around, working and traveling and doing these nightclub things here and there, mainly at 1OAK.”
