Chloe Lukasiak and Ricky Garcia recently spilled the beans on the true status of their relationship. While multiple reports previously suggested that the couple is no longer together, Lukasiak and Garcia insist that they are still more in love than ever before.
In an interview with YSB Now , Lukasiak and Garcia revealed how the two of them first met. Ricky shared that he was the one who made the first move on the Dance Moms alum. He shared that he asked for her number at the Radio Disney Music Awards, but it was only until they bumped into other again at the Digifest where they really started to get to know each other.
Chloe Lukasiak and Ricky Garcia have been dating for ten months. Just like any other couple, the two have been sharing several sweet photos on social media. The former reality star, however, received quite a backlash from Dance Moms fans after she posted a photo of herself sitting on Garcia’s lap.
According to Yibada , fans of Chloe were disappointed to see the 14-year-old acting in such a “ flirtatious ” manner. They held that she was just too young to be sitting on her boyfriend’s lap, adding that she was setting a bad example to her much younger fans.
They also called out her mom, Christi, for failing to discipline her daughter. Meanwhile, some also blamed Ricky for the alleged change in Chloe’s behavior. They pointed out that Chloe dating Ricky did more harm than good.
Although some of Chloe Lukasiak’s fans came to her defense, the Dance Moms alum eventually decided to take the photo down. Unsurprisingly, both Chloe and Ricky have decided against sharing sweet pictures online, which caused many fans to speculate that they have since broken up. Based on their recent sweet prom photo shoot, it seems like the the duo are happier than ever.
Interestingly, Forever In Your Mind’s “Wrapped Up For Christmas” music video, which also starred Chloe, mostly gained positive response from fans. Many commented that they were only watching the video to see “Clicky,” Chloe Lukasiak and Ricky Garcia’s ship name.
Fans of Lukasiak and Garcia also encouraged netizens to stop making such a big deal of the two-year age gap between the young couple. They held that the young couple should be able to enjoy their relationship without receiving such criticism from fans.
Meanwhile, on her YouTube channel, Chloe Lukasiak finally gave in and did the “Boyfriend Tag” with Ricky Garcia. The Dance Moms alum shared that she had been receiving tons of requests from fans, asking them to do a video together. Chloe and Ricky opened up quite a bit in the video, from where they first met, first impressions, and even their pet peeves.
Chloe admitted that it gets on her nerves whenever Ricky will ask the same question over and over again.
“You always doubt what I said. Like when I say, ‘I’m fine’ and I really mean I’m fine and you’re like, ‘No you’re not,’ ” she explained.
Ricky, however, tried to defend himself, insisting that girls had the tendency to not be honest about what they truly feel.
“Girls do this all the time, especially you. You make it seem like something still is wrong and I need to know. I mean, I gotta accept the fact that its not going to change but you do it.”
In the boyfriend tag, Lukasiak also asked Garcia what his first impression of her was. The Forever In Your Mind member admitted that the Dance Moms alum seemed quite aloof when they first met.
“My first impression was that you were really shy. I didn’t know if you like me or not at all. It was kinda weird but I stuck through it and told myself, ‘I got this.’ “
