Charlie Sheen’s Ex Files Restraining Order Against Star
After a rough few months that have involved publicly admitting to being HIV positive following a lengthy time of being extorted, in addition to legal battles to lessen the $55,000 amount he is expected to pay monthly to each of his two ex-wives in child support, Charlie Sheen has another reported battle on his hands.
The former Two and A Half Men star’s ex-fiancée, Brett Rossi, reportedly got an “emergency seven-day restraining order” against Sheen this past Thursday. It is, however, unclear presently as to why Rossi filed for the order, although it has been reported that Sheen’s ex notified the Los Angeles Police Department of an altercation of some sort that occurred between her and Sheen
Friday, a judge in Los Angeles went ahead and granted Rossi’s request for the restraining order and it is intended to be in effect into next week as well. This new turn of events is the result of earlier drama that occurred between the exes, as Gossip Cop shares.
“As Gossip Cop previously reported, Rossi filed a lawsuit against Sheen back in December, alleging he forced her to get an abortion while they were engaged, and that he was verbally and physically abusive during their relationship. She also claimed in her lawsuit that Sheen withheld his HIV-positive diagnosis when they first started dating, and the two had unprotected sex several times before she learned of his disease.”
Sheen was quick to counter Rossi’s suit back in December and insists in his own suit that he never forced his ex to get an abortion and indicates that he is guiltless of all other accusations Rossi has made against him. Sheen stated in his own court filings, as GC continues, that Brett was making false allegations in an attempt to “extort him and was well-aware of his medical condition prior to the two having sex.”
The star also stated that Rossi was the one who became aggressive and displayed physical behavior even though she alleged that it was Sheen who was physically abusive towards her. More details in regard to Rossi are sure to emerge in due time. Meanwhile, Sheen is still attempting to get the courts to lessen his child support payments to his two ex-wives, whom he currently pays $55,000 to each per month.
The star spoke openly earlier this year while visiting The Dr. Oz Show in regard to his health and financial issues, stating that the number that was agreed upon in the past is not fitting to his current situation. Global News reminds of Sheen’s words to Oz on the subject.
“We came up with a number a long time ago and I had a great job and everybody was living large and that’s not the case right now, but there’s still that expectation to still keep paying this kind of money,”
Charlie Sheen admits that his income has dropped drastically since he severed ties with the hit sitcom he was once the star of, Two and A Half Men, and also shares that due to health costs to treat HIV, he is left with far less monthly than what he is even expected to pay his two ex-wives.
The news publication shares the details that Sheen listed in his legal documents.
“In the legal paperwork, Sheen listed his monthly expenses, which show that he’s gone from making $613,000 per month to an average of $87,384 per month. Sheen also describes the reasons behind his financial woes, which include the selling off of his Two and a Half Men rights, along with mounting health-care costs due to his HIV-positive status. He claims to spend approximately $25,000 per month on medical costs not covered by insurance.”
