Ariana Grande Denies Justin Bieber Feud, Claims They’re ‘Friendly’
Ariana Grande is refuting rumors that there’s bad blood between her and Justin Bieber.
Grande recently opened up about her alleged feud with Bieber in a new interview with The Sun‘s 3AM, where she claimed that she and Justin are “friendly” just days after the two sent Twitter into a meltdown after unfollowing, and then re-following, each other.
When quizzed about the apparent drama by the British newspaper this week, Ariana denied that there was any negativity between herself and the “What Do You Mean?” singer, revealing that there was actually “no deal” with the two.
“There’s no deal, man,” Ariana told the newspaper this week, admitting that while she and Justin aren’t necessarily the best of friends, they are friendly “acquaintances.”
“We’ve always been acquaintances and friendly and that’s always been the case,” Ariana Grande revealed to The Sun, “Of course I would say hi to him if I was at a party with him.”

This is the first time Ariana has spoken out about where she and Bieber’s current relationship stands since rumors began swirling over the past few months that the two had been locked in a dramatic feud.
While the two only just unfollowed and re-followed each other on Twitter this past weekend, Justin and Ariana previously appeared to hint that they’re not exactly seeing eye to eye right now after Grande appeared to refer to the singer as “Satan” on her Twitter page.
Fans speculated that Ariana was bashing the star on social media back in January after the “Sorry” singer left a pretty flirty comment on one of her Instagram videos.

According to a screen capture posted online by Twitter user @ladiebuteraz, Justin got a little hot under the collar over Grande’s Instagram clip and allegedly commented on the short video, “Damn Ariana u look so good.”
However, Bieber’s comments didn’t exactly sit so well with Ariana, or her boyfriend, Ricky Alvarez.
Ariana then took to Twitter following the comments where she appeared to hit back at Justin with a series of cryptic tweets that appeared to confirm she wasn’t exactly into Justin’s social media advances.
“Lol no,” Grande wrote on the 140-character site earlier this month, which many have assumed was a candid response to Bieber’s Instagram comment. Ariana then even appeared to refer to Justin as “Satan” in a follow-up tweet. “Not today satan!!!!!! gtg finish this music & live my cute, drama free life!!” Grande then wrote.

Though Ariana has yet to confirm or deny reports that her social media messages were in response to the pop star’s supposed Instagram flirting, Grande’s boyfriend, Ricky Alvarez, then opted sent Justin a message of his own on the photo sharing site.
In a screen capture tweeted out by Justin fan @awareofbiebs Alvarez scathingly told Justin, “Keep looking player… I already told you she does.”
But it’s not just on social media where Ariana and Justin appeared to hint that there may be some serious drama brewing between them.
Grande also stirred up rumors of a feud a month later in February after Radar Online revealed that she had decided to end her contract with manager Scooter Braun, who also manages Bieber.
While Ariana has never publicly spoken out about her decision to part ways with Scooter, the gossip site speculated at the time that it was the recent drama surrounding her relationship with Bieber that pushed Grande to seek out a new manager.
What do you think of Ariana Grande’s comments about her and Justin Bieber? Do you think they’re really “friendly” after their supposed feud?
