Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Put Divorce Rumors To Rest As They Finally Move Out Of Kris Jenner’s House
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have moved out of Kris Jenner’s house, finally putting to rest months of speculation regarding their future together.
According to TMZ, the celebrity couple, who have been living at matriarch Kris Jenner’s Calabasas home for the better part of the last three years, decided to move out since they did not intend to outstay their welcome. Since the arrival of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s second child, Saint West, in December of last year, Kris Jenner had temporarily moved out of her home to give the four-member family space of their own.
Kanye West took to Twitter in the early hours of Wednesday morning, posting a snap of what looked like the lobby of their Bel Air home, with the following caption.
“Feels good to be home.”
Kim and Kanye had purchased their first joint home when they paid $11 million for an Italian-style mansion in Bel Air in 2013. This was before Kim got pregnant with her first child. However, the mansion needed extensive renovations, and so the couple had sought refuge somewhere else temporarily, which was when Kris Jenner asked the couple to move to her sprawling LA home.
After the birth of their first child, however, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West bought a Hidden Hills mansion for $20 million, knowing that they needed a bigger house now that the couple had a child. This house too needed renovations.
The renovations of their new home were finished when Kim was still pregnant with her second child last year. But the reality TV star was unhappy with the quality of the renovations, which had reportedly cost in excess of $2 million, meaning there was no option for the couple but to extend their stay at Kris Jenner’s house.
There is little doubt that Kris will appreciate the move, with her even claiming back in January that she felt like her kids “were never going to leave” her home, according to Hello Magazine.
“Kim and Kanye and North and Saint, my grandchildren, they live with me and I feel like they’re never going to leave! They just don’t leave, my kids do not leave,” Kris had said about Kim Kardashian and Kanye West staying at her home during a televised conference in Miami in the beginning of this year.
In fact, the decision of the celebrity couple to stay at Kris’ house was not only reportedly causing problems for her, but their own relationship was running into serious problems. In November of last year, the Inquisitr reported about Kanye West not relishing the time he was spending at his mother-in-law’s house. Speaking to Britain’s New Magazine, an insider close to the couple had even gone on to claim that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West could be heading for a divorce because the rapper was finding it increasingly difficult to conform to the rules of Kris Jenner’s household.
“Kim and Kanye fight quite a lot about it and things are tense,” the source had said on conditions of anonymity. “The strain on their marriage is palpable, as living with his mother-in-law was never what Kanye had in mind when he married Kim. Yes, the house is big, but he still feels put upon and not in his own digs, whereas it doesn’t bother Kim much.”

In fact, the media was rife with reports of a divorce on account of Kanye not adjusting to life at his mother-in-law’s home. Some reports suggested that Kim was looking for a divorce because she couldn’t take Kanye’s child-like behavior.
But now with the couple having finally moved out of the matriarch’s home, it would be safe to assume that the couple have at least laid to rest any lingering doubts about their immediate future together.
They will, of course, soon be moving to their Hidden Hills mansion once the renovations are complete, but it finally looks like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will have their own space with their two kids, and that can only be a good thing for any family.
